We had the motor replaced, so all is working now.Did ask what was wrong with the motor, they said they will send it off to Skoda to see why it failed, I will wait with baited breath for a reply and refund.!!!!!.

Just did, by some comments left, they don't seem too bothered.

How can I contact Skoda UK, and does the 6 year fit for purpose cover all parts or just safety critical issues

I'm getting the old motor off them,get it checked by an auto electrician, and if its a manufacturing fault, then I will ask for the £212 back for the motor, in my mind, a motor costing that much should last morevthan 3 years.

Has anyone got a goodwill payment for a failed heater motor replacement, my son has just had his replaced and a bill for £412. Ouch.

Is that the 'normal' service you would get from a Skoda Dealer.

What exactly does a dealer mechanic do,does he just removes a bit from each caliper bleed valve and tops up the reservoir, or does he completely empty the whole system and refills and bleeds the system. What about the ABS system, does that get emptied and refilled.

When a garage ,either independent or main dealer, changes the brake fluid, do they drain completely or just undo the bleed valve a little and then top up.?

Just recently I've had a buzzing noise behind dash or in engine when accelerating ,engine at 2000/3000 Rpm any ideas
