  1. Yea im going to join and give Brisk a go I think. My car is extreamly clean at all times No its not on Piston Heads. I dont want to say anything here and get into the poo poo.

  3. Evening all. So Im trying to sell my fabia and seem to be struggling somewhat. Im aware its a bad time of year etc...... But! I have a very nice example and am asking a sensable price but still dont seem to be having any luck :( Any advice at all would be greatfully received. (Mods please move this if i have posted in the wrong place?)

  6. yea there is a magical turbo cleaner out there that DOES work but i cant remember the brand a google search will find it. i know its about £80 tho! but a turbos £500+!!
  7. that sounds like a turbo fault. the vnt geometry in the turbos are very common for seizing causing overboost thus putting the car into limp mode or no turbo as you describe. this fault does not usually occour all that frequent to begin with but as soot build up in the turbo grows it gets worse. just an educated guess without seeing the car tho.

  9. i imagine the o/s/r wheel gets a little soot up! haha seen the vid on you tube "in-car speedo acceleration video! " im well impressed! must have put some effort into it? and its actually quite clean smoke wise for 280 hp i think? seen mapped cars same as that.

  11. I work as a tech in a garage so can use tps via our account ill order some for the estate then it seems? lol wish i knew this earlier! grrr. still need advice on fitment anyone? anyone in nottingham (ish) want to help me out for a few sheets? (providing you can do em well!)
  12. Ahh i was told by TPS they were discontinued. Anyone remember how much they are? i need another set now too as tried to fit them today and knackard the 1st bloody one! going to pay someone to fit these i think. Any takers?

  14. Hello!! not been on the site for a while but wanted to share a good finding of a few sets of B piller trims for the mk1 fabia. These kits have been discontinued now so anyone wanting one needs too get purchasing! i was delighted to find some at last!

  16. As an MOT tester too i can 100% agree here. its not as simple as just "writing out a ticket" anymore im afraid. which is why MOT testers are becoming hard to find by employers.

  20. 1990 merc 300td, 3.0 straight six turbocharged 138 bhp stock and home tweek the old fuel pump to make 150+. reliable rear drive and comfort all with 40 mpg. sweet.
  21. yea mate with a little water just to stop the metal scratching and to help lift the dirt etc. try not to use it to harshly on the chrome oval part of the tailpipe though as it may damage it. bit of time and patience and it will look mint!
