I had my heart set on a 170 L&K and then my company cut our Co2 cap from 160g to 120g. I'm looking at regular hatchbacks now, but wondered what the Yeti Greenline Elegance was like? 105bhp and a 5sp box seems a compromise too far, but I love the Yeti.

I'm thinking of ordering a Petrol Blue L&K. A colleague has a blue Audi with brown interior and it works well as a contrast. However, I'm fully aware that colours in the brochure and on the web look nothing like real Petrol Blue cars. It seems to be a difficult colour to capture. I can't seem to find many pictures online either in this colour. Does anyone here have a FL Yeti in this colour (or a decent picture of one)? If you happen to have the L&K.. perfect!

I have a Peugeot 3008. The interior looks more funky than the Yeti, but.. it is the most unreliable car I have owned. In addition the control knob for the satnav unit broke whilst the car was still under warranty - Peugeot refused to fix it. My only option was to replace the whole unit at my own cost - 1700. I bought it as I got a better deal than I could get on a Yeti. I'm finally replacing it later this year... for a Yeti. I've owned two Octavias previously and done galactic mileage on both.

I have seen someone with the rear seats of their Yeti in their tent.

Maybe I'm just getting old (I had a Jabba'd mk1 vRS back in the day which I loved to bits) or maybe it was the genuine surprise at the agility of the Yeti. Think it will make the best fun/family hack compromise between the two.

Test drove a vRS Octavia and a 170 Yeti back to back today and honestly found the Yeti more fun to drive! The TSI engine in the Octavia is a peach for sure, but I found the steering lacking feel and the general level of feedback almost artificial. It's also very dark in there with the black headlining. The Yeti was a genuine surprise - really nimble and light on it's feet (tyres!) with a neutral balance and loads of feel. I could imagine the Yeti to be more fun to punt down a winding road. Coupled with the practicality of the 4x4 and rear seats, I'm probably going to go for a L&K Yeti.

Mk3 Octavia L&K at Geneva - specs inside.

Will wait until a few more colour combos are available before writing this off completely. They did the same with Superb - the preview models were brown, with brown dashboard, brown seats, brown brown brown. My neighbour has a Petrol Blue L&K Superb Combi which looks stunning. -
4g over our company Co2 threshold.. Will be manual for me then. :(

It's not that i'm against brown. I rather like it as a leather upholstery colour in cars, but not all the plastics too... Reminds me of my grandad's mk1 Vauxhall Cavalier! Here's the interior of the A4 that I'm also considering - much nicer I'm afraid. -

I will hold out until I see the interior, but the tdi 4x4 sounds very nice. -
The triangular lights at least look similar to the clay model in the first post.

After 2 Octavias, I was going to buy a Yeti last time. Bought a Peugeot 3008 instead (v. good deal via work) Not recommended. Yeti FL will replace it next year.

Was in my local Skoda dealer this morning and they had just received the details for the FL Yeti. Pricing is about £600 over the old model and the L&K is Outdoor only. Apparently it should be on the Skoda UK website in a couple of days.

Octavia III extra warranty but worried sick about DSG7
Lem replied to Nicolai's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
I think it would be safe to assume that all new models would have the benefit of the 'fix' that is applied to all recalled cars. -
I'll take the estate please... very nice.

When your 3008 breaks down (which seems to be around every 20,000m for me) you can press the peugeot connect button and their concierge service will pass on your location to the RAC/AA. I assume the SOS button works the same albeit without you having to talk to Peugeot.

Oh... and I hired a 208 last week in France. Coolant pump failed in the cold.

After 3 Skodas, I bought a Peugeot 3008. It had a number of issues from new, has broken down twice and I'm currently embroiled in a wrangle with customer services after the jog wheel for the sat nav system partially collapsed which they refuse to fix under warranty. It will be replaced by what I should have bought in the first place... a yeti.

Fabia vRS (OFFICIAL UK PRICES AND SPEC)
Lem replied to Allams Skoda's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Seriously considering an estate as a downsizing move from successive Octavias (vRS and currently an L&K estate). Would have like to seen the Amundsen satnav and leather on the options though. -
Not so keen on the rear, but think it will make a nice estate.. When the time comes to replace my current L&K, i might well be tempted by a Superb Est with a nice v6 diesel, although from what I've read so far, the 2.7 will make it, but not the 3.0 :(

Yep, but the company insurance has

Someone kindly left half their exhaust system on the side of a dark country road and I now have a damaged wheel. Anyone know the cheapest place to get a replacement wheel? Its the 07 model with the 17" wheels (Sputnik?)
