Hello. I just wanted to update you guys. The code I got from Fordfan, actually worked. My brother took my skoda to a vag fanatic, he used one code, that was some kind of universal code, and then the code I got from fordfan. Now the only problem is that the engine computer (ecu) i think is non-responsive, but well... it drives just as well. And the ABS works! Thanks!

Gee... sounds nice. The part of recoding the abs system, is something my brother mentioned. I just misunderstood him (we talked earlier). He has a friend who is a mechanic, and he has a brother that is also a mechanic... a vag mechanic to be specific. He is trying to find out what the code is. I will report back, once it gets fixed.

I just learned that, that code is something "generated" from facts. Like is it a 5 or 3 door. Is it with disc or drum brakes. Is it 1.3, 1.5d, 1.6 or 1.9d? Those things "generate" the code.

Hi, im new here. I googled around because I have a problem which this site seemed to be the most obvious. I own a delightful Skoda Felicia 1.6 1996 Black Magic edition. My brother is a mechanic, and borrowed a vag tester 1552 i think it was called. He called a fellow mechanic, who is a skoda mechanic. He told some codes, which ended up in resetting my abs system. I have no abs braking anymore, and the light flashes in the instruments. The fuses which is located in the engine compartment, does not seem fried. What would you guys suggest?
