  1. I had the same problem and after I replaced this rubber part the noise was gone. I don't know how you guys call this thing in ENG
  2. First of all, I am a member from Turkey, so my English is a bit poor sorry for that. No one in Ankara (TR) could tell me a real solution about my problem. (2006 Skoda Fabia 6Y3 Saloon 1.4 TDI 80 hp BNV engine) Some say that; "It's cold air vacuum line, it cannot make leaking from there" but I checked everywhere, no dropping from somewhere else. The guy who works at authorized Skoda car service said "That's such a normal thing" That was really interesting. I checked many 1.4 TDI Fabias-Polos-Ibiza etc... and I didn't see that leaking, they were clean. The answers of the questions which can be asked me before you may reply at this topic; -I change the oil+oil filter+air filter in every 7.500 km (4600 miles) Fully synthethic; Mobil ESP 5-30 or Castrol Edge Turbodiesel 5-40 -No mapping, no tuning, nothing.... Fully stock. -I always wait almost a minute before I stop the engine. -I don't try hitting 200 km/h everyday, I always drive at 70-120 km/h, softly, not often pedal to the metal. As you know this hose is vacuuming, coming from air filter. This hose cannot be damaged by something, it's right behind the engine and I don't want to change the hose for nothing. The leaked oil level on the hose is increasing day by day.... But I don't feel any performance decreasing or stupid fuel consumptions. All your ideas will make me pleased. Thanks.
  3. Allright, I am driving my TDI Fabia since 5 years and I decieded to buy a brand new Fabia vRS. Today I went to dealer and asked them about the car. (how long am I gonna wait, prices etc...) Then they told me that no manuel-gearbox option for vRS. I've already heard many problems about DSG transmissions. I am a big member of Skoda and VAG group car forums in my Country. Most of the 7 speed DSG users in TR complain about the stupid noises from gearbox. And the dealers say that it's normal. But after 2 years (or when warranty ends) they want to fix it (replace some trans. parts or update trans. software whatever...) and ask fancy prices. You can hear the strange noise in this video, it's really scary. All in all, despite I love the new Fabia vRS (180 hp twincharged awesome engine and good price) I think I'm gonna go for a Corsa OPC with 6-speed manuel gearbox.
  4. hi from Turkey, i've this cable, and a ipod like in the picture below. I thought that i can connect my ipod to my fabias symphony CD (just track) player. but some of skoda members in turkey said that they've already tried this before, and they weren't able to connect their mp3 player to symphony CD player. but they did it from a standart mp3 player, not from an ipod. so they did it from jak cable. it didn't work. i hope you could help me, will my iPod work as a CD changer? or should find a new way to do this... Thanks...
  5. 1.4 TDI, on motorway with 5 th gear, 90-100 km/h (should be patient ) 1250 km. in the city, nearly 800 km.
  6. that's absolutely true but unfortunately its not standart in ambiante version in Turkey. it costs much.
  7. it was problem for me, everyday i drive about 120 km, full car, 5 people its hard to go with 5 people in fabia. my right leg hurts, it was disgusting to keep my foot on throttle, always same speed... and i'm nearly 1.90 mt my knee hurts everyday, than i said it's time to change something there, maybe a bit foolish but it works
  8. oops ı think you made a joke, or got me wrong sorry for that. you may saw it 27, but its 2.7
  9. the road is completely stragiht, not climb or not down. my car is ''06 skoda fabia ambiante 80 hp TDI PD sedan. its fourth gear at the video. trip computer shows the momentary fuel expenditure. Dailymotion - Fabia 1.4 TDI fuel economy show, a video from hakanerdogan. fabia, skoda, TDI, fuel, economy.
  10. today, i got my car back, and they did an excellent work. everthing changed -axle -door+window (door came from czech republic to Turkey) -all the suspension system, (I really don't know how do we say these parts in english, but you may understand them, sorry for that) -campane -and the rim was balanced then painted. it costs about 5.000 Turkish lira, 2500€, 3300$. which one you understand. after ı took my car back, i did a test drive, there wasnt any problem, while i was driving 190 kph, the car was completely straight. but after the accident it was dancing on the road. now it's good. not any serious injuries, i didnt wear my seatbelt and kicked my head to window, but now OK. when she crashed to me, the left sided wheels weren't on the ground, then I turned 270 degree... she was really fast. so here are the new photos, take a look to work, you may say its better in Europe (ı hope you see these fotos bigger, if they are too small, say it to me i'll check again, also here is very detailed in turkish skoda forum.) fixed fotos http://www.skodam.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=13825&PN=1 accident day detailed (take look page 1 and 6 if you want to see) http://www.skodam.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=13500&PN=1
  11. probably noise comes from fuse. I've never heard it in my car, but i heard it many times in old cars, and it's normal for them. maybe it can be voltage problem, but i'm not sure, because i never heard noise from my dashboard.
  12. this happened on 31.12.2008 evening. before christmas, since that day ı havent got a car. but tonight i will get back my wheels the women who drives a white corsa, didn't see the red light and kicked to my left back door. she was driving nearly 60-70 km/h, and didnt use the brake here are the fotos from that day nowadays
