  1. Hi has anybody ever had a boot leak on a mk2 saloon superb,it's only started recently when it rains quite a bit.Its not sunroof related as I haven't got one any ideas as can't find any info anywhere for the mk2, cheers
  2. Don't know if this is allowed or not but I'm thinking of selling my MK2 L&K 2.0 TDi 170 2014 manual 59k miles really good condition just don't know how to price it, cheers
  3. If you've had your pads changed check the inner pad that clips in to the caliper they rattle and make an awefull knocking noise if not really tightly clip in I had same problem it took me weeks to suss it out
  4. I've just done both xenon's on my superb not as bad a job as it looks it's just wheel off ,dirt guard off then you can get to the third screw and get the back off the headlamp
  5. How did you manage to do the bulbs did you go through the wheel arch or take bumper off I need to swap a bulb and it looks a nightmare job.
  6. Any ideas what's the best way to change the D3s bulbs on a 2014 FL model it looks like it would have to be through wheel arch to me,seen many videos of pre FL ones and there easy but these don't look straight forward.
  7. You have to pull the rubber gaitor away from the body of the car you just press on the top of the rubber and it pops off easy when you pull it back you might not see any because they might be further in the door and you have to take the door card off and pull the harness through to have a proper look
  8. I would say definitely broken wires in between driver's door and body I've just gone through this on both my front doors wiring it's not that bad a job
  9. As title says I've had a nightmare with my car last few weeks changed door harness solved many problems, but now the nearside doors are playing up not locking windows not working and mirror function lost all seem intermittent seems like it's constantly losing its memory so looking at swapping control unit in driver's door but do they need to be coded.
  10. You probably right I think I've sussed it anyway heater recirculation motor not closing properly, one of many problems at the moment
  11. Wondered if someone could shed some light on this before I start dismantling things I have scanned car with carista and get the following faults I think it's poss recirculation flap fault but not sure.
  12. If your wiring is fine I would try a new master window switch first cheapest option if not could be control unit in the door but there quite pricey
  13. I bought it from TPS in the end due to how quick they could get,it wasn't that bad worse part was unplugging the door lock plug which took about 10 attempts and lots of swearing due to you can't see it,you have to drill the speaker rivets out to get access to it aswell all in all about 2 hours work
  14. Problem you have if the wrong wire breaks you're car won't lock like mine started to do,first my passengers window kept losing memory and mirrors didn't fold then my driver's door and rear driver's side door wouldn't lock had to park next to fence and clime in,all good fun not.
