My screen washer pump is leaking, looks an "easy" job to replace what's the part number 2001 Fabia n mk1 Secondly,. I have had new front tyres fitted tracked four way three times still pulls to the left I haven't as far as I know hit any thing garage tells me steering correct ? Thanks for any advice

To continue the saga of my Mk 1 Fabia. Having bought pipes connectors I cannot see where the pipe on the inside of the comes out into the engine side. Having spent £600 on a replacement clutch and flywheel a wheel bearing needed replacing now on the way to the garage the power steering pump pipe decided to leak I think this car has become a nightmare ......

I have now found the pipe inside the front footwell that goes to the rear of the car. However, it looks like previous owners have cut it short I shall join a new piece of pipe to the one from the pump and try to find the hole it goes through into foot well. Having just spent £600 on a new clutch and flywheel a wheel bearing has now gone , This cheap car could be a money pit . Once again thanks for your advice

I own a Mk1 Fabia 19 years old with just 40 k on the clock. I have seen all the post about my question but mine is strange, I think Rear screen washer firstly. Yes the pipe has come off at the bulk and water is coming from the pipe when it's activated. Here's the strange bit. I cannot locate the pipe which goes to rear of the car . Secondly rear foot well near side. Door cards seem to be bone dry but it is wet any help . I have noticed under the car the four rubber grommets are in bad shape new ones ordered . Any suggestions please would be most gratefully received , thanks

Happened to me a year ago, ended up having new clutch etc fitted, beware very expensive from skoda got mine through my local garage at half the price, as I have now spent so much money on this car (Turbo just blown) it will be passed on

Listen to this then Skoda Octavia turbo deisel. Clutch, clutch pedal mastercylinder brake pedal master cylinder, door lock cables, central locking four times rear screen washer not working sump drain plug seized sump off gearbox leaks water leaks air con pump and now turbo blown what a pile of crap this is my 373rd car it has cost me a fortune it will be replaced asap

This is the third time of sending and havent seen the previous two posted to bring you up to date once more I have x reg octavia elegance full service history owned for nearly two years. Great car when its going, problem is its always breaking down, I have forgotten the complete list but heres some of it clutch judder, new clutch etc, central locking , several times, cd player working not working, rear screen washer not working clutch pedal broke, brake pedal broke, key jammed in drivers door lock, cable that operates inner drivers door snapped. Unable to remove sump plug, gearbox leak water leak , air con pump replaced and today it went bang, no power, expensive noises from engine clouds of black smoke and no power, what have I done drove it to garage and asked them to bury it somewhere, what am I going to do, buy another Ford I own x reg focus as well, not a penny has been spent owned as long as the Skoda, Skoda has drained my bank account behond belief, and they say Skodas have got better, or am I just unlucky ????
