Yeh the profile is correct the original pro was 13 inch and on 55s Yeh its the 1.4 8V. i am still learning about throttle bodies etc to be honest but motor bike ones seem to be a popular choice!

Dude sold my 04 plate one tonight with 33K on the clock for 9K. Mine does have RS6 wheels and alpine audio though. Really sad to see it go. Think mine is worth a little more but happy to see its gone to a good owner!

Im selling for a few reasons to be honest. A mix of buying my first house, want more of a project car etc. Ill be really sad to see it go to be honest. One thing im worried about is this:- When i first bought the car even though i paid brand new price etc. it was first registered to horners garage as it was being delivered as their demo car but i swooped in before it got their so thats no 1 owner, then me was no 2 and my mum no 3 as she was supposed to be the registered keeper to start off woth but we put it in my name for some reason in error. Will this affect the price any? As effectively its 1 true owner.

Ok so i have been doing some hinking I have decided the eibach 25mm is not for me as there is not adjustability So then i thought of coilovers etc but this again is just not what im going for with my car. i have been thinking about the air ride suspension system Has anyone done this before? Hi guys, Ill let you know my predicament. Im basically loking to lower the car on eibachs, just springs. i told my ins company (screentrade - through NIG options) and they said cant do that. Now im a named driver on my mums policy currently. I have had quotes from other people for the vRS and they are literally 4 times as much as now. So this is not an option. However, my mate has recently advised me to simply say to them stop arsing about and just get it underwritten and theyd charge me 200 extra approx. Is this possible? i was always under the impression a no was a no? Cheers Alex

Hi guys, I recently took the blue neon outta my boot and replaced it with a green L.E.D as i thought it would look better i.e. colour match. However i have found the LED to be an really insense light and something that actually makes it harder to see in the boot now which was not my plan. Anyway...soon some 312mm brakes maybe on the way with red calipers. So this is my excuse to change it to red. Is there anything you guys can suggest as to making the light dimmer or less intense or should i just get red neon? Other thatn that i have thought about mounting it in the false floor and cutting slats in the visible floor so it shines through (but im a bit lazy at the mo so wanna see if theres anything else you wizards can prescribe?) If you see here:- http://www.automotivedetailing.com/assets/articles_htm/baffled_buffers.htm Basically its saying the orbital buffer is a lot better as it doesnt just go round like the rotary "grinder" looking ones. its revolves like also whilst spinning so it mimics the montion made by the hand when polishing. Also as far as grit.....clean your car and keep your pads clean :P I have been speaking to some detailers on meguiars forum (helpful lot) and they are saying there is more chance of getting swirls from hand polish. Also means on the orbital you can use up to 75% less polish etc. I have been sent some new products from megs as samples to try and im trying out P21S as well (rich concours carnuba) on it. any way i think im gonna leep looking so if anyone has any suggestions or personal use reviews let me know and ill get some pics posted of "pitch" soon as hes done <---name of car sorry! I dont like it to be honest. Looks to high. Ill list my griefs so i have reason: Dont like the chrome front part Dont like the wheels look to messy and spindly Dont like exhausts too close together makes the car look high Like the seats Like the engine I just thik the old model R32 had just the right look, low, mean, phat and phast. new one looks to refined, tall etc. if you pot them next to each other it looks like the guy in school thats dead good at sports and built like a brik **** house against the lad whos always got his chem homework on before time due. I hope this helps change your mind. P.s. if VW are overlooking this board yes i am available for a job as one of your chief designers.

Ok guys i have been doing a bit of research into one of these to apply polish and obviously buff the car. I have been pointed in the direction of a few. But does anyone on here have any experience of them? Good/bad points? Any reccomendations? Looked at the megs PC and the halfods (even thought its halfrauds its supposed to be pretty good) Cheers
