  1. Hi guys. Hoping to find someone with ODB Eleven who can help me with some coding for my ID4 that's due to be delivered soon. From Lancashire, but can travel to Yorkshire or North East. Thanks!
  2. Given you've opted for higher monthlies and a lower initial payment, I don't think you'll see too much difference.
  3. There are a few on here who I'm sure reply with some sound recommendations of the engine. I'm awaiting mine...! Ordered without even trying it, I'm that confident. By all accounts, the engine is definitely suited to a DSG box and seems to return 50mpg - of course, figures are all subjective but I think you would definitely find an improvement on what you're getting currently. When I was comparing performance wise between the 1.0 and the 1.6 TDi, it was negligible. Obviously the diesel will return better mpg figures, but it's also 10p a litre more expensive at the pumps (at least where I am). Good luck!
  4. Ask them what the warranty procedure is? 3 times they've tried to fix it and to no avail, don't see why you should have to keep taking it back for repeated visits.
  5. You know you mentioned sport mode... is that available to select then? Eco, sport, normal etc. Didn't know whether drive mode select came on the 1.0 engine.
  6. It's built into Android/Google maps so shouldn't need to download anything. https://myaccount.google.com/find-your-phone So as long as you login to your google account with your phone, you should be able to track it at all times.
  7. Makes for a cheap GPS tracker presumably as well should the worst happen, if you've linked your Google account etc?
  8. What colour do the bulbs look - are they cold or quite warm?
  9. If you're going PCP then I'd suggest putting your details in Carwow and Drivethedeal. Otherwise, if PCH check out Leasing.com, Leasehub, Carleasingonline. Parkers used to be good but for some reason they've used a 3rd party to supply lease deals and its atrocious. Whatcar also have a leasing section just for main dealers to post up. And ultimately, lead times are loooong at the minute. I did see a few PCP deals on nearly new SE Tech's (I was looking for pictures of what mine would look like) and I honestly couldn't believe the price difference. They were £300+ a month, when there around £200 a month for a brand new lease (on a 1+23 deal for example). I would ring a few dealers and leave your details with the PCH teams to ask if you could grab any cancelled orders etc if you're not fussy about colour etc. I ordered my 1.0 SE Tech Estate DSG through Bristol Street Motors / Vertu motors. £200 a month on a 1+23. Highly recommended if you do end up going down that route. Good luck!
  10. Great to see you've picked it up, looks very nice in red! S/S sounds a royal pain in the arse, so that will be getting turned off immediately when I get mine. If you get chance as well, can you take a photo of the lights in the dark? Thanks mate. Enjoy it!
  11. It doesn't show on my Peugeot (glaring omission IMO) but not sure about Skoda/VAG group in general.
  12. I definitely need to see where I'm going as well as hear it. Also Spotify on AA lets you choose playlists etc rather than using your phone.
  13. As long as you're under the magical 25% figure... Under 20% even better. These are a legit brokers as well, a few people have ordered from them on pistonheads so don't think there's anything worry about in that respect.
  14. Ah okay, just on my current car it disappears after it goes lower than 21 miles. Which is no good to anybody.
  15. So, I like playing the how far can we stretch an empty tank game. When the 1.0 Octy drops to zero... how many miles have I roughly got left. Just so I know...
  16. You could pick up a cheap Android phone and use the standalone app while mounted. I suppose it depends how heavily you're tied into the Apple ecosystem and whether you need/want it for messages/phone calls, or just for navigation and music streaming?
  17. @Mikebham that is nothing short of genius Would one with a suction mount stick to the back of the seat, or even on the window (if she's not prone to putting it up and down)? Failing that, maybe a mount to clip on the vents between the seats?
  18. @zeddicusyep I grew some balls and ordered it. I did ask for a couple of cheap freebies but they wouldn't budge. Got a list as long as my arm of stuff I want/need for it already
  19. Sorry to dig up an old topic. Just noticed in regards to armrest, that it comes as standard on the Estate but not the Hatch - for whatever reason.
  20. You can download Android Auto as a standalone app, which looks identical to how it would on the head unit. Could then connect that via Bluetooth. Cheaper option if you have an Android phone?
  21. Do you find cruise control has any impact on the MPG? As in, better or worse?
  22. What alloys did you plump for, just the standard 16"? Ultimately my thinking for not going for anything bigger was a 35mm or 50mm set of Eibach springs are a damn sight cheaper than £700 alloys. Cheaper tyres too. To be honest, I'm in the same boat though. I'm losing a lot of kit in comparison to the current 5008 but it's all swings and roundabouts.
  23. If you go on auto trader you can probably find an se tech in your ordered colour so you can have a proper look.
