Full set of 15mm thick ( increases track by 30mm) Hubcentric wheel spacers complete with 20 x longer bolts to fit, and a set of mcguard locking wheel bolts ( 2 x keys as one bolt code is different) to fit Octavia 1/2/3 and golf IV/V/VI will fit plenty of other VAG cars as well good used condition. £30 + P & P £10 ONO

8 years and 150K+ of remapped goodness on a DSG equipped Octy VRS, never missed a beat.....now got a MY17 Superb L & K DSG with ACC and it's one of the best combinations that you can have for our crowded traffic jam clogged roads!

I have the same ones as penguin....12 months on they are perfect, the 3m adhesive pads give a limpet like adhesion, no problems with them ever coming off.....or ever being able to remove them!

I think you'll find that's not the case these days!

On my 2010 Octavia VRS I had an amp made by blaupunkt that was 5 way, it had 4 outputs and an output for another amp to drive a sub, it connected to the columbus via a harness supplied with it and worked brilliantly, unfortunately I left it in the car when I sold it.

Just tried this on mine....it works....makes the car secure overnight whilst still having kessy during the day...can't believe this isn't publicised more, this will foil the scroates using the relay to steal cars.

or pop a couple of those little silica gel sachets you get with new shoes etc in through on of the removed bulbs so they sit inside the housing behind the reflectors so not visible, had this issue with my last mk2FL octy VRS, this worked a treat, never had a problem with condensation again! worth a try as it's a free fix!

.......Believe me you'll soon get fed up of it randomly closing when you are loading stuff and have to dive out of the way!

Does anyone know if it is possible to code, using VCDS, the Virtual pedal so that it only opens and doesn't close using the virtual pedal, it's a pain in the neck constantly closing if you accidently put your foot under the rear valance when loading or if you are sat on the boot lip putting walking boots or the kids wellies on and it starts to close.

Whats the VCDS process for coding LED's?

A monkey with 3 fingers could fit one, very simple but very effective mod, one of the best bang for buck mods you can do, feels like the car has been partially remapped is the best way I can describe it can't understand why VAG have handicapped all their cars with such slovenly throttle responses, previous generation cars didn't suffer with this!

Checkout the TCU+ from DtUK, they have a plug and play Dongle which remaps the gearbox, there's info on a thread on the site, their remap, like their tuning boxes is undetectable by dealers and is getting rave reviews.

No, no explanation, they did say when I rebooked it that it would be generic glass as well but would be to the correct spec, however when I picked it up it was the Skoda monogrammed glass so OEM spec as well! the centre manager was raving about the glass in my car being a VERY high spec windscreen either way they did a good job of it and the calibration, just returned from a 1K round trip on holiday in Devon and it has been faultless, the ACC working perfectly and making progress very easy on the miles of M5 and M6 50mph zones.

Sorry Coolc I beg to differ, re-booked with Autoglass who rang friday to say the glass was ready, all done and dusted with a cert of calibration in 90 minutes! they have all the kit to do it in house ( I checked as the previous company said I had to go to the dealers to have it done ) original Skoda monogrammed glass as well! The manager did say that the screen was an absolute top of the line screen though!

mine does the same, it's very hit and miss whether it changes to FM or just goes silent....usually silence!
