hi mate, just had the same, went to the skoda garage next door, right hand door ecu and harness change, cost best part of a grand, and also informed that the left hand door is on the way out, the ecu in the door (drivers side ) has the brain for the locking, windows and for the mirrors. fixed it though, the problem was corrosion on the terminals.

hi, so i was wondering if anyone can help, my octavia 1998 sometimes and it doesnt depend on if the car has been running previous or not but as it starts, fires up well then immediatly dies, this can happen several times until it fires up and keeps going, has anyone experienced this before and can give me any tips, thanks. daniel
