  1. Clearing faults hasn't made a difference. Did get some error codes though, misfire on all cylinders, P030000 and P010600. Could a dodgy map sensor be the issue?
  2. Thanks for that, I've had a search and can't seem to find any info on the dynamic map? Is that a vcds job?
  3. Hi all. Wifes car has developed a low speed misfire/hesitation. It's intermittent, seems to run fine inbetween. Sounds a bit gruff when it's playing up (slightly more throaty?). Idle gets a bit lumpy, and seems to hesitate under 2.5k revs. No error codes, plugs and coil packs changed. Not using any oil (it's the later 1.4 lump). 66k miles, 63 plate. Any suggestions more than welcome! Cheers Warren
  4. Much appreciated fella, but I'd be concerned about getting back in touch with them if a problem did arise. I've absolute faith in their maps, but on this occasion I'll be trying somewhere else.
  5. So, seems shark are no longer an option. 2 emails unanswered, dozens of phone calls unanswered and a voicemail. Even tried getting information from a shark dealer, and they can't get in touch with shark. No idea what's going on there, but not much else I can do to spend my money there! Any other recommendations? R tech do a engine check before doing the map, which is appealing.
  6. Good to know. I've fired off another email, so will hopefully be able to use shark again.
  7. Morning chaps. I've used shark performance in the past, and would happily again, but they seem impossible to get hold of at the moment. Tried email, phone, no response. What are the other options available? Not a fan of revo (past experience), I've heard r tcch mentioned positively a few times. I'm Midlands based, so r tech would be convenient. Any other recommendations?
  8. Any opinions appreciated! 56 plate mk2 petrol vrs. 109k miles, really good condition. Few mods Pioneer carplay/android auto headunit Bbs wheels (genuine with receipt) Shark stage 1 remap (with the tuning unit so map can be removed etc at home) White line rear arb White line anti lift kit Eibach Pro springs Full service history (skoda and aps Brackley) Cam follower changed at every service Cambelt service in March (receipt included)
  9. Looking to get a quaife fitted to my mk2 vrs octavia. Had a good quote from darkside, but as they're a bit of a trek was wondering if there's anyone folks could recommend in the Midlands /Warwickshire area?
  10. I'll have it, if you message me payment details I'll send immediately.
  11. Interested in the brakes, any idea on how many miles the pads/discs have covered?
  12. Do you know rough mileage covered, and where are you based.
  13. Courier has unfortunately let me and Matt down, so these are still available. If anyone wants them, and could collect either tonight or Friday after 9pm, or Saturday before 10am they can have them for £100. Otherwise they are tip bound, as I need the space.
  14. As pictured, there are a couple of chips and a bit of kerbing (which I hadn't spotted previously) I'll have the other 2 done tomorrow, but given the kerbing I'm changing the price to 150
  15. Will update tomorrow morning with more photos post clean.
  16. 18 inch, set of 4 standard wheels refurbished in Anthracite. Some stone chips, no kerbing. Will be cleaned up over the weekend and more pictures added. Collection only from Windsor (delivery may be possible to some locations in Hampshire) £200 (just removed from the car, so please excuse how dirty the wheel is!)
  17. Had a shark map on for a week or so. Cars otherwise standard, really impressed. Car feels oe+, quicker everywhere.
  18. I've just fitted a fiscon, really disappointed. Music streaming is mono, sounds dreadful.
