  1. For sale is: Space saver spare wheel and kit. Available are two polystyrene holders, making it suitable for multiple different VAG cars including, Octavia, Superb, Karoq, Kodiaq, Gold, Leon, Passat, Ateca etc. Other VW Group cars could also benefit from this. Priced fairly at £120. The tyre hasn't been used, other than to be placed on the car to allow me to conduct the annual switching around of tyres. Collection from Ely Cambridgeshire; however, collection from Tattershall in Lincolnshire can be arranged.
  2. For sale is: Genuine KAROQ double-sided boot protector, full set of Genuine KAROQ rubber mats, a new set of BOSCH AEROTWIN wiper blades and an emergency triangle. All I'm asking is £80 the lot.   4. My dealer, Horton Skoda Lincoln, tells me that the 19" Crater Anthracite alloys are only available in Europe and not the UK. Does anyone else know the score with these?
  5. Are these the 19" Crater alloys? They look much better than the standard silver ones.
  6. I was more thinking of the colour. The standard Crater alloys are just silver where as these are black and silver, and look more like the Octavia vRS Xtreme alloys.

  9. The following is for use with OBDEleven, but should be the same as VCDS. This is the process I followed, from top to bottom in order, and have no errors. I have a DSG & KESSY car, but this should make no difference: High Beam Assist (for cars with Lane Assist Camera): Ensure light switch is in the OFF position, wipers not on auto, doors closed and ignition on, before starting - IMPORTANT 1. Select Control unit 09 (Central Electrics) 2. Control unit Long Coding 3. Byte 02 4. Bit 0-2: "03 Lighting Bi-Xenon with Light Assist" 5. Select Control unit 09 (Central Electrics) 6. Security Access Code: 31347 7. Adaptation 8. Assistance Light Functions-Menuestuerung Fernlichtassistent 9. New Value: Present 10. Assistance Light Functions-Menuestuerung Fernlichtassistent Werkseinstellung 11. New Value: Present 12. Select Control unit A5 13. Security Access Code: 20103 14. Control unit Long Coding 15. Byte 02 16. Bit 0-7: "01 coding_Light/High_beam_assist" Optional settings 17. Controller A5 18. Security Access Code: 20103 19. Adaptation 20. High beam assist urban detection area – Switch to No 21. Speed that HBA active set to 20kph 22. Speed that HBA deactivate set to 10kph 23. Change lux code to 10 Finally, go into the vehicle menu on the head unit, go to light settings and select ‘light assist’ Push the left stalk towards the front of the car, it should show the HBA logo at the bottom of the Maxidot.

  11. If you click on the text next to Byte 02 it will give you a drop down menu with 3 options, select the: "03 Lighting Bi-Xenon with Light Assist" option.

Select Control unit 5F (Information Electrical) 2. Adaptation 3. Select channel: Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2 4. traffic_sign_recognition_0x21 = change to Activated 5. Select channel: Car_Function_Adaptions_Gen2 6. menu_display_road_sign_identification = change to Activated 7. menu_display_road_sign_identification_over_threshold_high = change to Activated 8. Control unit A5 (front / advance camera) 9. Security access 10. Access Code 20103 11. Control unit Long Coding 12. Byte 1 13. Bit 0 Activate - "01 Traffic Sign Recognition (FTE) active" 14. Select Control unit 17 (Dashboard) 15. Control unit Long Coding 16. Byte 5 17. Bit 2 Activate 18. Display end of speed limit symbol in A5 adaptions 19. Control unit A5 (front / advance camera) 20. Adaptation 21. Display end of speed limit symbol 22. Important to activate: Display valid additional signs 23. View Channel Valid suffix 24. Corresponding value: 00100111. Remember to select the Green tick at each step of the process!
