  2. On Saturday the 9th November 2013 we will be off to Power Station for the Rebel Motorsport Club annual Rolling Road Day. Power Station 2010 Montage Again we have a maximum of 35 places available to us, costing £35 each All cars are welcome whether it be a 4WD, RWD or FWD. Full payment of £35 is needed to secure your place (to be paid by or before the 26th October 2013) click here for payment details Paypal is now available on [email protected] (Please make Rolling Road or Power Station in ref box) By all means show your interest however your name will not be added to the list until the deposit has been paid (as always payment will secure your place) To those of you who just want to watch Can I just point out this is a partaking event... as most of you know there is only a small viewing area and I think it is very unfair if pple just turn up to watch after all the club is all about joining in and taking part. So please don't turn up just to watch. By all means for those that don't want to run on the rolling road you can always meet up with us later on for the pub lunch. Meeting points. Magor Services (M4 J23A) leaving at 07:45am Magor will be meeting up with those at Michael Wood Services Michael Wood Services on the M5 (between Junctions 13 and 14) leaving at 08.15am PowerStation, Tewkesbury (just off J9 of the M5) Please try and be there for 08:45am so that we can sort out the preliminaries in readiness to start at 09:00am.   3. Fund raiser for The Stroke Association. Supercar Saturday Around 50 Supercars, Racing Cars and Classics out on track at Castle Combe Circuit on Saturday the 26th of October and you can get a 5-lap passenger ride in any of the cars for a donation to the Stroke Association ranging from £25 to £60. We have carefully chosen both cars and drivers to provide an exciting taste of the Castle Combe circuit and our line up includes professional racing drivers, including the current Combe record holder Simon Tilling in his Aston Martin Vantage V12. Additionally, an Autotest event in the paddock where you can take part with your own car (£25) or get a passenger ride with their very own Stig in his Subaru Impreza for just £5. Admission is just £5 per person with the Paddock Entrance gates open at 8:30 for paddock walkabout. Circuit action starts at 09:00 and it is best to come early to get the best choice of rides. 100% of the money raised goes to the charity directly, at the event. The event is entirely run by volunteers and we're always looking for more help so please let us know if you want to be involved.   5. Welsh Motorsport Festival @ Pembrey 2nd -3rd June 2012 Keep these dates free because you seriously do not want to miss this weekend... Its a full on motorsport weekend with day and night entertainment with the formula 1 bar open Saturday night for food, drinks and a sing along or two, not to mention camping on site.... Big massive thank you to Philip aka st185racer as he has secured us at Rebel Motorsport Club a stand for this weekend long event There will be loads going on at this event. The Welsh Sports and Saloon cars will be there (Philip aka st185racer) as well as loads of race and rally cars and at least 4 F1 cars will be making an an appearance... Track & Entertainment Line up The Deal We at Rebel Motorsport Club have all of the above for free.. yes that’s right FREE the stand, the camping etc all weekend for those showing cars plus 1 passenger. I think its only fair and a nice gesture if we pay at least £5 per car for the weekend and this money can go to help for heroes a charity which Phil aka st185racer rasies money for.   7. It is run under a certificate of exemption for a touring assembly, club funds will be covering this cost so that all the donations will go to the air ambulance serivce

Summer Brecon Charity Drive - Sunday 8th August 2010 All persons partaking in this event must be registered members of Rebel Motorsport Club under MSA regulations, and a minimum of £5 per car to be donated towards the Welsh Air Ambulance. (details have been posted up on their website. See under meets/events and see authority from The Wales Air Ambulance below) Limited spaces available, only payment will secure your place and payment must be made pay prior to this event in order to purchase liablity insurance cover. If you do not want to attend this event however would like to donate towards The Wales Air Ambulance then please feel free to do so all money will be donated to this very worthy cause. We will remind those attending that we do not condone/endorse racing and we fully expect attendees to be law-abiding and to drive responsibly. If you want to drive like an idiot and rag the nuts off your car then please take it elsewhere and leave the rest of us to enjoy the event! Depending on the event it is quite possible we'll be attracting a lot of attention so please respect other road users and avoid excessive noise/speed in public and built-up areas. Also worth bearing in mind is the fact that there will potentially be lots of bikers, cyclists and horse-riders out sharing and enjoying the roads with us.   11. Just had a reply off Craig I have heared of companies pulling the fuse for the Haldex and running 2wd, you can also lift the handbrake and this apparently disables the 4wd. HOWEVER, many dyno manufacturers state that even running on a 4wd dyno that is not in the correct mode for a Haldex system can cause damage, for this reason I don’t offer this service, I wont risk damaging a customers car. Karlbar2k I dont normaly allow spectators however on this occasion if you do fancy joining us for the day and the meal/drive after then feel free to contact me to make arrangements.
