hi there i have an 2006 Octy VRS 2.0T FSI. my car has done about 35k miles. i just want to know does the fuel filter needs changing?, if not when does it need changing? and 1 more thing where is the fuel filter located on the car? thanks for all your help. ian

Hi all, i have an 2006 Octy VRS 2 Liter TFSI Petrol Manual which as done around 35K on the clock. Well as the topic says. What is the recommended Age or Mileage for the: 1. Timing Belt Change 2. Cam Belt Change i have had an light weight neuspeed pulley fitted in about an year ago, it came with an belt which Awesome GTI have used. Is this an Timing Belt or it an Alternator Belt or they are the same thing? i'm sorry i sound like an morron, not very tech minded. thanks for all your help peeps.

i never ever heard anything bad about the EBC i have used them on all my cars and they were all fine. maybe it was just the one off

what about EBC Red Stuff pads they are ceramic coat. they squeek at first, but when they bed and warm up they make the brake nice and sharpish.

in the manuel it states use 5 - 30 vw specific oil for my VRS 2.0 TFSI. but what i want to know is what happen if i put like 0 - 30 oil in? i know it will burn faster but will it couse any damage to the engine? because its thinner. what about 10 - 40 oil? it will burn less oil, but it is thicker. do you have to use vw specific oil? thanks for the help

i would only use prolong or ZX1 oil treatments. but out of the 2 which is the best i would go for prolong its pretty cool stuff, make the engine an hell alot smoother. the only probs is that is hard to find there and an few bottles on ebay.

well for me it shows nothig just and spanner with the mileage, then it changes to how many days till next service.

i think its just fixed because it reseted to 10.6k miles. upset what service is due? will that say on the dash? or just vag com?

hi i was just messing around on the dash, and i have just reseted the service indicator by acceident. i just wanted to know is - is it each time you rest the service indicator is it all the same? or is it different? thanks for all your help ian
