Hi guys, My dad is changing his brake fluid, he just want to check exactly how doyou open the bleed nipple for the clutch (pic attached). Do you just turn it by hand, which direction etc? Cheers in advance.

I could do with knowing the answer to this too! Can anyone help - mines a 2.0 tsi. -

planning on changing it this sunday with the father. also got the coolant temperature sensor to do. if i have any problems or don't get round to doing it i'll give you a shout - very kind offer. whats the name of the chippy you're fans of??

I should have explained further...the problem is sporadic. Sometimes when i give it some stick the engine management light and EPC light come on and the car starts feeling really ropey. Turn the engine off and back on and things are back to normal. The car has a Shark stage 1 map on it. Having read around the problem tracks back to a dodgy coil pack. I've picked up a new ignition coil from Skoda today - now just to work out which is the dodgy cylinder!

Sorry only just seen your reply - thanks for the offer never the less!

Hi guys, I've got the code 04874 showing on my VRS. I've done some research and it looks like a dodgy coilpack is the cause of the misfire. My question is, does this code relate to a certain cylinder, or will i have to replace each coil pack in turn to work out which is the dodgy one i.e trial and error? Cheers!

One was attached on the last post? Can you not see it?

Got a chance to wash the car today, not been done for weeks! Snowfoamed then washed with hellshine bane blade, dried and done! Abyss certainly seems to protect and add a fantastic gloss finish. Didn't even bother to top up with BSD it still looked so good. See what the beading is like in the morning!

That's a good price. Cheaper than cambelt replacement at main dealer! -

I've not used autohaus Dolby myself but I have had them recommended from someone I know. Apparently they are very thorough and know their stuff. Their prices do seem very reasonable too. Edit.. Just seen another threat a little further down...one of them members is getting his changed at autohaus, maybe ask him how he gets on Chris? Jmattley is his username I think.
