  1. thanks national, the battery is in good condition although i will get a quick free check on it, could be one of the reasons
  2. i havent had it on VAG com as of yet, hoping to see if anyone knew anything i could try before taking it to a garage and spending money on it?
  3. Ok so I have a 2005 fabia vrs, in the last couple of weeks I've had a lot of problems with the electrics going mental, firstly the cd player won't work, fuse not blown but put it back in and it works, done this 6 times in a week now both electric windows have packed up, fuses are fine but the same trick doesn't work, any ideas people? I'm really stuck and can't afford a costly garage bill cheers
  4. yep they are et38, you will have tuck even with 20mm thick spacers
  5. i have osram nightbreakers and i have to say there not worth the £25 i paid in a shop, if they are what you go for get them off ebay, around £13 delivered
  6. it will have supposedly 178bhpish so my local stealer said
  7. how far are you dropped mate?car looks well nice stance is spot on^^^
  8. as title, am going to fit my LCR splittler to my fabia vRS on tuesday, just wondering what size self tapers to use as i need to get them. thanks in advance Liam
  9. will be fine. just a quick question: how low are you? with comps and 20mm spacers i scrub with a full car although i am basically fully decked on the rear. (adjusters half out around 80~85mm drop)
  10. yeah ive had it all checked over, i need the ball joints and wheel bearings doing, would these be the cause of my wurring noises?also the wheels are only made of 'monkey' metal by the looks of it.be interesting to know what grade cast aluminium was used.
  11. sorry to hi-jack abit. i have a simular problem, i get a sort of wurring noise constant when driving/moving, i hit a curb last saturday in the ice, completly shattered my wheel, and now have this wurring noise. i've had the car checked over by a garage and they recommended getting the ball joints done which i will be in the new year, but was also going to have the wheel bearings done too. my question is; do you think it could be just the ball joints?its on the offside front which was the corner i hit the curb and smashed my wheel? any help/advice greatly appreciated. merry xmas. Liam
  12. depending on pcd, i didnt see it in the ad, should imagine its 5x100 like the fabia but if it fits cars like superb, mk2 octavia etc it'll be 5x112.you can get adapters to change the stud pattern on your car, just depends if you want to take the risk and possibly having to spend an extra £200 on adapters.
