Too much politics above to read. But here's my 2 pence. I thought the brakes on my vrs were good enough until I fitted some r32 345mm and then I realised they actually weren't. IMHO they should have come from the factory with these as standard. Highly recommend the upgrade.

Looked and searched but found nothing conclusive. I find the seats in my pre facelift very un supportive. I found the ones in my golf mk5 gti much better for my sciatica (yes I know old man at 29) Has anybody changed for mk5 platform seats? Or even mk6? If so is it a straight swap front / rear? Thanks in advance.

Hi all. I've searched around and can't find a definitive answer on this. My vrs has the manual climate control/aircon. Looking to replace the bolero with a Columbus but struggling to find the right part num. Found the black version on super skoda http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/OCTAVIA-II/Octavia-II-dashboard-plate-for-COLUMBUS-units--manual-A-C-in-BLACK But I really wanted silver. Angle sensor sits behind the slip ring. These both plug into the controller below.

It's a piston type and the piston kept sticking on it. It also doesn't seem to seal properly. There's loads of threads on mkv golf owners club.
