  1. Hi Unfortunately not. When I bought the car it only came with one key.
  2. Hi I would have done that, but my son managed to mash it when trying to get the old key out of the old ignition.
  3. Hi I dont know if you can please help me? I have a skoda felicia 1.3LXI I have fitted a new ignition barrel and thats fine. I booked it in with my local Skoda dealer for Monday morning to have the keys recoded. The problem I have is that, my Skoda does not have anywhere to screw in the towing hook. Are there any mobile key coders in the Preston area? I would be so grateful for any help/suggestions. Thank you
  4. Hi I have new ignition switch all ready to fit, problem is my son removed the old 1 and didn`t look which wire went were!!!!!! There is a black wire a white wire and a yellow wire. It is a felicia 1.3 LXI Please could anyone help. Thank you
  5. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure I will find it, I was looking for a chip. Please don`t think I am being impolite, but I need to sign off for tonight. I have to be up at 5.30am. If there is anymore advice that you can give me, I would be extremely grateful. I will log back on tomorrow. Thank you for the help so far, really appreciated. Goodnight:)
  6. Hi The key is smooth on both sides. I know it is the best option to fix it properly, but will it work? I am very sceptical at this point that it will ever run again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My logic was, bypass the immobilisor, it then becomes one less problem. Thank you for trying to help, I really do appreciate it.
  7. Hi Its a felicia 1998 1.3 LXI The skoda dealer here tells me it has, but I have to say I am unconvinced at this point. Thank you for replying:)
  8. Hi I`ve been directed here by other kind members. 98 felicia ignition barrel collapsed, got one from a scrap yard but its not working. Have tried to find the chip in the key fob, but failed miserably!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there anyway of bypassing the immobilisor? I just want to be up and running asap and cant afford the garage prices. Any suggestions/advice would be very much appreciated.:)
  9. Hi Thank you for that, really appreciate it. If thats right though, then why does the car still start with the old mashed bit of metal that is no longer connected to the fob? Thats what I cant quite grasp(sorry it has been a very long day here) Also, I seem unable to find the chip in the fob, I have now looked at 3 keys and cant find it in any:)
  10. You are really friendly on here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:) Its nice to feel welcome as a new member. Thank you:)
  11. Thank you to both who have replied. I know I will appear very dull when I ask this question, but I`ll ask anyway:) Is the chip built into the metal of the key or into the keyfob? The reason for my asking is that if its in the key fob, why does the car still start with the old key without the fob attatched? Is there no way of bypassing the imobiliser? Again perhaps a dull question, but I really am a very fed up mum!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Hi I have read a lot of posts re igniton problems with felicia. My barrel has collapsed, managed to get the key out. The problem I now have is had to smash the key fob to remove the key, with strong pliers this peice of the key will start the car. Put a new barrel in but that key wont start the car. Having been car less for 5 days now I am fed up. Is there a temp fix that I can do? If so please could you tell me how. The other posts that I have read about push switches dont make it clear enough where to run the wiring. Thank you:):)
  13. I have a 1998 skoda felicia. The ignition barrel went last Thurs. I have very limited budget, did get another barrel and wondered if anyone can explain to me how to swap the chips over in the keys. I would really appreciate any pointers. Thank you:)
