As I said in the emails Anthony I think you know where you went wrong, it'll be a pain to get that wire out of the white plug but hopefully you'll manage it. Have you identified what the fault code is?

Allow yourself plenty of time, it's not a walk in the park. Nothing like trying to rush a job you aren't sure of.

As Ross says it's unlikely you have the wrong 09 Central Electronics controller. Just tell them you want the kit and you'll take it on risk.

I've been looking into IP camera's recently, there seem to be some good solutions about.

Late Delivery Compensation
VRStu replied to Eddie Deguello's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Sorry to hear of your long waits gents but you are not alone. It seems Audi are having similar if not bigger problems as well with the A3. Some buyers are reporting being told not to expect a car before March/April next year if placing an order now. Those with delayed orders are being put into loan cars which Audi UK are arranging, most of which appear to be brand new A4's. -
Level of vRS discounts post VAT promotion

What are the rules for the end of Jan VAT deal?? When do they need to be registered, I assume it's only the order that needs to be placed to get the offer. -
Check the eBay link in the first post Steve. The seller is Gulfstream who is already a member here and sorted out the Octy II ones I did ages ago.

SWMBO's contract specifically says that under these circumstances she could keep the car until she returns to work. I would imagine it varies depending on the lease company etc.

Mine runs fine with the OEM airbox and a panel filter. -
Still no joy with retro fitting Cruise Control

As Ben says log into coding II with the login 11463 to activate CC in the ECU. Modify the coding of the steering wheel controller to suit your car. -

If he didn't need the wire it would be fitted already so he wouldn't have had anywhere to connect it. -
Do the rear washers work ok?

There isn't a software upgrade required so I'm not sure what you've done with the Bosch tool. Bit more detail on your car would help. TDi?? Sport?? Year?? Enabling is a 2 minute job with VCDS. Maybe Ben at Shark Performance can help. -
Your early Octavia will almost certainly need the additional wire to the ECU. 1.6 Ambiente might not have the correct steering controller, do you have an onboard computer?
