  1. Ok not Skoda my wife had had 3 Honda jazz cars - on lease. We will soon have 2 kids what would folk recommend o. Lease? Audi A3 (not that like Audi) is £169 month - that includes car, tax, service, new tyres etc if punctured - basically everything. I told her to get a yeti!! after looking at VW as Audi I would always buy a Skoda - any help appreciated
  2. My mate works for a local Skoda - shown him this post - bite their hand off! W
  3. Always had a floppy knob - can anyone help?
  4. sorry mine is monte not a tech but tbh - a sat nav and Bluetooth are of little use. Waze app on my phone is better a d free!!!
  5. got mine with £1500 off climatatronic rubber mats as a full tank of diesel. Don't be bluffed by salesmen - do your homework on prices. Salesmen are at your mercy - I went in and out of Benfield Skoda plenty of times and played them off against silbury and others. Eventually they buckled and gave me what i wanted. Bit of a game all in all but cash and desperate for a sale gives you huge power. Never ever pay full whack.
  6. Dent DK (whoop) Perhaps you think they look good? The comment was honest not barbed! Ps that's with no wine. Glad it fares well as an instruction vehicle nice to see that it is a head turner too. The 105 is what I have - nice pull and handles well too W
  7. whoooh that is bad !! My paint did do on like that but dried black metallic like wheels there is a slight difference but my damage was minor in comparison. Sorry to see this has happened I'd defo get a refurb? On another note how does the car fare as an instructor vehicle?
  8. Hi yes I bought it it had a ball bearing in mixed it for a good while and applied carefully to edges after some gentle sanding you cannot tell- unless you really look carefully. Ill take a pic tomz and post it up here. Paint looked different at first application but came out just about spot on after drying. W
  9. cheers thought it may be a Hammerite job. Bad crack really as they should cover this - ill ask anyway. cheers all W
  10. Paint flaking and rust appearing can i get the dealer to sort this? surely they should not do this
  11. get an independent view from your local tyre center then go to dealer. Contis' are renowned for this. I'd kick off with dealer if they did not replace them - it should not happen as previously described its not 'fit for purpose' W
  12. cracks are bad - especially in main recess. Replace defo don't take the risk. W
  13. that's what I thought ! Cheers W
  14. Hi was wondering if anyone knows about this. Mate of mine has osram cool blue hyper and some xenon sidelights. She is due a service and is worried that she will be 'pulled' or 'a report' or 'reference' made to this on her service record. Changing the bulbs is a pig - so the question is - should she put the car in or remove the bulbs? cheers W
  15. Hi wondering which until would be best for the fab monte c. Swing sounds great but the idea of a screen would be nice. Would I have to install a GPS antenna for the Columbus? Do the units match well with the interior of the fab? Cheers W
