Ahhhh, cheers, just read the link. I'm 38 so can still do the direct access route as I intended but will defo look to push on and pass this year now.
-
Really? Why what's being introduced? Thanks for the heads up
-
Take my cbt on Sunday! Nervous but excited. I'm planning on doing the direct access route although I may change my mind depending on how I get on. I have ridden bikes a bit when younger, messing about on mates bikes (on private land of course) but that was ages ago when i didnt think about consequences. Im more nervous now. Just wondered if the many bikers on Brisky had any advice regarding their experiences of tests and any bikes they would recommend-I like the naked bikes like sv 650 or hornet but wonder if these are ok for beginners....thoughts and advice welcome.

ESP light on - ABS Sensor module - common fault?
danroly replied to Silky1976's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
An update on the above.........had the problem diagnosed at clay bank. It was ABS brake pressure sender fault. Had already discussed with soda uk who set up a case. When I spoke to Claybank about it they contacted soda uk and by the next day they had agreed to foot the whole bill even though I don't have full soda service history and havn't owned the car from new! Claybank had quoted £175 for the part alone. Skoda said that it was a fault which required no FSSH, apparently very uncommon. Well chuffed and glad I checked it out on Brisky 1st! On a sobering note, my battery is dead this morning and needs a new one...ho hum -

Mine has just come on today when i returned to the car after work today.....im hoping its gone in the morning as i have just spent £2000 on the car-all routine stuff (insurance, MOT, Tax) and maintenance (service, breaks and cam belt). If not looks like i will try for the grovel approach. -
cheers-its done 71k so needs doing. Awesome will do it for a much more reasonable price.

cheers will give it a try......just have to remeber how to reverse properly for now! -
Gone but not forgotten...my gran 3 yrs ago.....yet to feel the pain of parents passing, peace to those who have.

Just kicked in today; when i select reverse, the sensor sounds a continuous beeeeeeeeeep! i have washed the car in case its dirt, no change.I rang local skoda (claybank) who said it would cost £90 to diagnose and then whatever on top to fix I did a quick search on brisky but no thread relevant. Anyone had this problem or ideas how to fix please? Car is MK2 octy vrs. Ta Dan

Cheers steve....wanted more time trying out the camera but the kids and missus started to get bored and taking the peas out of me ("think your David Bailey do you?"), cant blame em really...how many times can a 7 yr old look at a car from different angles and not help but get bored? Now a grown man.......well i ran out of time rather than angles As for the F40 you can mod a capri with tack but an F40.....still wouldn't mind it hough
