hi there, my 55 plate vrs has been sitting for a while and the battery has gone flat, i disconected the battery and charged it up but now the drivers side door wont unlock on the remote central locking and the littlie red alarm light is on all the time, it will unlock on all the other doors fine and start no problem, but the lights on all the tilme and you have to use the key to get in the drivers door, any of you guys have any idea? is there a reset ive got to go thru or something? cheers scott

there wasnt much to repair really, front panel, rads, boonet , bumper and airbags, the airbags were more of a pain then anything, whole dash had to be changed! but i know it puts people off, just seems a shame to break a good car!! not to many 2006 cars around for under 3k specialy a vrs!! the only option i think its got is rear parking sensors.

it lived around hareford way, had someone get it touch saying it went of the road when they were chasing a drunk driver.

its been on there 3 times now, its been vic cheeked and its been on the road for 6 months, if your the same felicia16v thet goes on britsh rally forum its on there for sall mate. how olds your ocy?

i think the police just didnt want to repair it, it was only front end panels, didnt even touch the wings!, but it does state on the logbook it was a write off.

its silver mate, ive got about 10 cars at tho mo, it has to go as i need the room really.

hi there allim the owner of a 2006 octavia vrs, the car is a ex west mercia unmarked police car, its is also a cat c insurance write off which is when i bought it and has covered 109k, its moted for 6 months and has no problems to really speek off and id jump in it tomorrow and happily do a big trip in it, but for the life of me i cant sell it!! the cars been on and off ebay and varius other places but it just wont go, im down to under 3k for a 2006 car!!! so ive been told the car maybe worth more in bits?? do any of you think this could be the case, many thanks scott.

just noticed ive locked the bloody keys in the car!!! i unlocked it to clean the seats, didnt put the keys in the ignition, so when i went in for tea and shut the door the bloody thing locked!!!, it s a 2005 55reg vrs, any ideas before i smash the window?.

hi all, ive just joined in the hope that someone maybe able to help me, ive just bought an ex west mercia police vrs with a rather large dent in the front of it!!, so im after a few bits, looking thru parts book and matching numbers theres not alot of differance between a vrs and any standard octavia, the front bumper and grill being the only things. ive got the bumper and grill badge so im after headlights ( with fog lights ), bumper support, front panel, water rad, air con rad, fan relays, and bonnet and grill. im down in devon and theres none down here being broken, im willing to travel to collect so if you have anything it would be a great help, thanks scott.
