I always make sure it's locked every time I take my bmx out of my car, which is virtually everyday, BrownBarge. It's something that I always check because I don't like the thought of other people getting their hands on my stuff, the same with most people.

I wouldn't say so Raf, no one in the household is dedicated enough to go out and play a joke in these nightly temperatures. Also, my aux cable was found in a puddle about 10 feet away from my car, so I would guess no wind up. Doesn't sound like anyone is getting in without a key, but I'm still confused as to how they got in without damaging the cars

Sorry forgot the important bit! Haha, my car is a 2004 Octavia VRS and my brother's car is a 2009 Mitsubishi Colt, I've asked on cztoc.co.uk to see if they can help with the Colt. I'm not sure why they'd go to all the trouble of getting in to both cars for an incredibly old Samsung mobile, I'm talking monophonic ringtones and a green screen, and the front & remote control for my stereo

Last night my car was broken in to. My brother's car was too. Now here's the wierd bit, there was NO damage to either of the cars but both driver doors were pushed too and both boots weren't shut either. I know my car was locked because after the last time I used it, last night, I took my bmx out of the boot, locked the car then checked it and it didn't open, so I'm real confused. Can anyone help give me some help?

First off, I just would like to say my dad as an Octavia I VRS. He thinks an absolutely fantatsic car and so do I. But that's not the point of this thread. I would like to know what the engine differences are between the VRS and the 1.8T 4x4? I got this silly idea of using a 4x4 body but running the VRS engine in it (this was when I thought that the 4x4 had a diesel in it) Well basically my silly idea was to make the 4x4 into a VRS replica (including basically the whole interior but not sure on that part yet) but then I wanted to run bout 350bhp or even more I think that sounds great but silly at the same time. BUT I couldn't use the car for myself With me being only 18 coming on 19, the insurance would be a big kick to the nether regions (£7500 for me by myself 1 years no claims on my dad's VRS) But I was thinkin bout doin it and once it was done happy birthday/ merry christmas daddy I thought this mite have been pretty awesome mainly down to the fact my dad wants a Nissan Skyline R34 GTR (he likes the idea of lots of power BUT doesn't want to buy a new car) Anyways, if you would be so kind as to helping me, I think I mite just love you forever :P Anyways Thanks in advanced Luke Oh and hopefully my dad doesn't come on here and read this
