10v at the lighter socket? little low but wouldnt worry about that. 12.5v is a perfectly healthy battery, and 14.4v under load seems like a good charge. unsure why it would overheat though!! when you said you were testing the radio, does this mean you have fitted a new one? you may have a current draw from the new unit, causing your battery to lose power.

as above ignition problems are fairly common seems to be a french thing lol

oooh, good shout lol

I didnt think it would fail an MOT on ABS inop. if the lights on it will. but i would imagine it could be a wiring fault perhaps, the vag com printout makes no sense to me lol, whats a fault code and whats not. because none of them look like ABS faults to me but i maye be wong

air con works easy enough but if your replacing parts and theres still gas in the system, get it recovered/evac'ed. the gas aint too good for ya lol.

as above we charge a voluntary £10 for insurance and if it comes back with no fuel in it we charge 50p per mile, just keep it topped up lol. but if its a big warranty issue i.e, car off the road parts on back order or whatever then generally the warranty company should sort you out with a rental for avis or whatever.

as above i've got an angel remap, pulls like a train but still nice to use on the commute to work, worth the dosh in my opinion.

if it was mine i would take it to an auto electrician although could be costly, this is assuming skoda dealers have checked ECU and Fuel/Ignition system -

does putting the engine under load make it worse at all? -
mounts can cause this mate, had one recently and it was shaking my fillings out lol!!!
-
i would say flywheel could be up there also check engine mounts. is it running rough or just noisy?
-
as above, very much doubt its wheel bearing related, that would give off a drone kind of noise. sounds more like brakes if anything.
-
i did consider making a "pikey pipe" but not for me lol
