I tried looking under the seat, but there was no label at all on the module, it was just an aluminium box mounted to the floor, and since it's still under warranty, i didnt really feel like taking it apart;). Unfortunately, I am in Roskilde, but thanks for the very nice offer:thumbup:. I guess its back to the swedish dealer with more complaints( I just need some verbal ammo):P Anders

The garage actually did order a new mic, but said that didnt help, so they are slightly clueless, but to me it also seems like some sort of configuration problem. I tried another SE today, the W800i, but with the usual result; my voice didnt leave the car:) Anders

I have tried with a Nokia 6120 classic and a 5300. They have both been used to transfer data to/from a laptop via bluetooth. And since I can make and hear calls via columbus, I assume that they transport audio ok. Ill go back to dealer and see if they have another car with the car kit in the showroom, or try my local dealer in Denmark. The dealer didn't give up on me yet, but seem to blame the phones or the Columbus software, whereas I insist that there must be a fault somewhere. So, the more information I can gather, the better. They claim that the Skoda factory said only the following phones work: Nokia 6310, 6600 E50 and E60. Sony K510i, K610i and 810i. But that doesnt add up with any list I have seen so far, and i did try the 810i. Anders

Thanks bagpuss. Is there an official list of compatible phones? I've seen many lists in various forums, but they all seemed "handmade" by Skoda/Audi/VW owners..... Anders

Nice suggestion, and I did try that. No matter how that switch is set, no audio leaves the car (and it would be strange if the default seting was "off" everytime you made a phone call).The garage has acknowledged the issue, but blames the phones only, which I find a bit odd.Anders

I have the factory installed Columbus, and can't get it to work with any phone. I've tried my iPhone, 2 Nokias and a Sony E K810i. The result is the same everytime: The phone pairs nicely, phonebook and calls are downloaded, I can make calls and hear people, but no one can hear what I am saying. I suspected a faulty mic, but the garage denies this and claim it must be a compatibility issue. When I use the multi-wheel to issue voice commands, it also can't hear me. Did anyone experience anything similar? Anders
