  1. Help, I'm still struggling with this problem, bought another changer (off ebay admittedly) and it is coming up with the exact same fault. Try switching to the changer from the stereo and it is saying "no CD changer" And I cannot eject the cassette. All the fuses seem ok, plug has a little corrosion on it but seems to be making a decent contact. Have had a multimeter on the plug and am getting 12v at one of the pins, is this right? Or should I be getting voltage at other pins to? Could it be an earth fault?? Please, someone help me.
  2. Fantastic, Thank you very much.
  3. I took my Octy in to kwik fit this morning to get the Air con re-gassed. There initially didn't seem to be any problems, but when they took the fill hoses of, the system was leaking from (what I was told was the HP valve) the fill port on the near side by the bulk head. What I would like to know is, Can you replace just the valve, or is it the complete pipe that needs replacing?
  4. No, it didn't seem to be. Took the plug apart and it seemed a little dirty but not wet. Gave it a quick squirt of IPA but still not good. Where is the fuse for the changer?
  5. I'm having the very same issue with my changer not working. Seems to be the season. Only difference is my cartridge is in the changer and won't eject. When I turn the stereo on and try to select a CD it comes up with "No CD Changer" Which according to the manual means the cable is unplugged. Checked the on at the changer end and its connected, Whats the chances of the stereo connection coming off? Does anyone have a wiring diagram they can look at for me and tell me what the different wires are so I can do voltage checks etc. Thanks

  8. Hi all, thought I would pop along and say hi, currently drive an MG ZR but found out the wife is expecting so have gone out and put a deposit on a 2004 54 plate Octavia 2 1.9 Tdi Ambiente. Just waiting for an RAC check to be done on it. Should be picking it up in around 3 weeks. It will be the first Skoda i've owned so expect lots of random q's on tuning and repairing.
