  1. Would be really interesting to hear from someone who has a MY2019 in any other trim than Sportline, and what their "Normal" mode is in "Auto" lighting mode. @Chas51 confirmed that his is red as well, but he has a Sportline, so does @siemi1.
  2. Yeah, I have it set to constant blue now, cause having it on red all the time just seems... wrong... (and a bit tiring in the long run because the color is so intense on the Virtual Dashboard, which follows the LED color setting.) And that's kind of the point, at least for me, because having a 272 Sportline, and putting it into "Sport Mode", where everything stiffens up, the engine revs up with the DSG dropping it down a gear, it's all supposed to feel a bit special, and having everything shift into red around you would just be that little extra that brings it home for me.
  3. Talked to my dealer, and they have still only provided their "guesses" as to why it's red in "Normal" mode, but in summary, they think it's because I have a SportLIne trimmed Superb, for which Skoda then thought that it would be fitting to have "Normal" mode be red as well. I don't really buy that, because again, having the same colors repeat sort of eliminates the whole point of this feature, which is to visually represent what driving mode you're in... :/
  4. Hi! A small, but annoying thing that I found after getting my 2019 Superb, is that the color for "Normal" mode and "Sport" mode is the same when using the new "Auto" feature for the interior LED strips. So when in Sport, the color is red, which is awesome, and absolutely fitting. But for some reason, they decided that Normal mode should also be in red... which makes absolutely no sense in my head. Can this be some kind of bug or misconfiguration in the software? Should I report this to the dealer? So currently, the colors in my car are as follows: Eco: Green (makes sense, so that's fine) Comfort: Blue (meh... I think blue should be on "Normal", and Comfort should be Light Blue (since they use clouds as the icon/illustration)) Normal: Red (yeah, this doesn't make much sense...) Sport: Red (makes sense, so that's fine) Individual: White (makes sense, so that's fine) In regards to this being a bug, the double red also doesn't seem to make sense compared to some images I've seen from "what's changed in MY2019" threads, like this one (notice the bottom left corner): Anyone else got a MY2019 Superb and can confirm if their "Normal" mode is red?
  5. Can also give a quick update. My car started moving two weeks ago, and has now made it all the way to Bremerhaven (harbor) for the final travel by boat to Norway. This all means that the 272 TSI engine has (finally!!) been approved for sale, and that they're starting to ship them from the factory / "banking facility". Still haven't seen the WLTP emission numbers, but guess they'll update the price sheets in the next few weeks.
  6. You sure this is a MY2019 we're talking about? The banking period for the 2019 models ended last week. All new cars built after the summer shutdown have been parked since they were built (due to the WLTP issues), so it's a bit weird that you, or a dealer have been able to get their hands on a MY2019 when they literally started shipping them this week.
  7. Yeah, the WLTP is what's screwing up the usual ¨3 months delivery time. So it's just bad timing really, and there isn't much the dealer or the importer can do. WLTP is a huge change in the industry, so we're just unlucky that we had to order new cars after it kicked in. Ordered my 272 Superb SportLine (MY2019 with digital dash, etc.) on the 7th of July, got booked for BW35 (last week of August). The car was indeed built that week, but now it's just parked/stored somewhere due to what they're calling the "banking period", where they just park the cars in wait of them being sellable/certified. The "banking period" ended on week 39 (last week), so now they're starting to empty this parking lot based on what cars have been WLTP certified/tested. As per the price sheet here in Norway, we can see that as of 05.09.2018, the following engines have gone through WLTP, and are ready for sale: So all those engines that don't have any figures, including my 272, are not yet tested as of that date, and so the dealer estimates that I probably won't get my car until late November, early December. That is if there are no additional issues... But if you've ordered one of the engines that now have the WLTP numbers ready, then it's a simple matter of where your car is in this huge storage facility, and how fast they can physically get it out and put it on a train/boat/trailer.
  8. The facelift isn't coming until MY20, which should start production in W32 of 2019. I wouldn't wait on it, to be honest... Facelifts are always risky given that people have different preferences, but the majority seem to be happy with the current design (except the Xenon headlights, which are a bit outdated). And with Skoda finally fixing the biggest complaint that people have with the interior of the Superb, which is the dash (those horrible analogue dials, and that tiny display in the middle), and replacing it with a great Digital Dashboard, I think the MY19 Superb is a safe bet in terms of its resell value in a few years. And that includes even after the facelifted MY20 comes out, unless they make it like AMAZINGLY much better, which is.. you know.. unlikely... So yeah... MY19 with a Digital Dashboard and Columbus, and your car will look modern and up-to-date for quite some time. The 272 engine won't hurt either
  9. Thanks for the explanation, now it all makes sense! Given that you indeed keep the benefit of both the sportier springs, but also the added flexibility of DCC, I'd have to agree with TGR. So guess the DCC is staying in the build sheet =)
  10. Hi guys! I've just ordered a 272bhp (MY2019) Sportline with DCC, but since the BW hasn't been confirmed from the factory, there is still time to change the decision about getting the Sportline with DCC. After browsing this thread, I'm still a bit unsure of what the consensus is on the topic (if any)? One thing I can't quite wrap my head around, is if the Sportline has its own, firmer/"sportier" suspension, then wouldn't the DCC replace that all together? Meaning that you're left with no "sport" suspension what so ever, and just get the same suspension (DCC) as any other trim? Or is DCC sort of "added on top" of the suspension somehow, so that the Sportline actually keeps the sport suspension, but then adds that additional level of control with the DCC?
