  1. Just rang Lightcliffe for a price for the 18,000 mile service on my 09 Octavia vRS Ltd Ed Diesel. They quoted £244 (saying they'd reduced their prices!), while ***** Skoda at ******** quoted £187!!
  2. On a relatively flat road, I find 4th fine at 30mph , 5th at 40mph , and 6th at 50+
  3. Thanks. The dealer has just updated me - they've found a gap in the sealant under the scuttle panel. Apparently as the sealant is applied by robots now, if there's an air-lock in the sealant system, small gaps can be left and the water gets in through the seam. They are going to repair it and do "extensive water trials" (!!) before I get it back Tues/Weds next week. HOPEFULLY that'll sort it!
  4. Thanks for the info! We have had some heavy rain recently, but I've not washed it with a pressure washer etc or had it parked on a slope. I think the rear driver side footwell is just it soaking through from the front. I'll see what the dealer says about seals. A modern car shouldn't leak like this so hopefully it turns out to be something simple!
  5. Was vacuuming out my vRS Ltd Ed this weekend, and found the driver's footwell carpet to be soaking wet and puddling when it was pressed. Rear driver's side footwell damp too. Have seen a lot of threads on water leaks into front/rear passenger side, but not drivers side. Car is in the dealer at the moment being looked at. Any ideas?
