I'm looking on e-bay. I need a replacement but there's so many different descriptions...which one is required and will pass MOT? Are there any non-genuine that will do the same job and pass MOT? Many thanks

air con no good as mine steams on the outside, wipers clear it but too dry any suggestions?

i have the same engine with the same wheels as yours., no problems at all in 6 years, use it every day, in the hot, freezing cold, starts every time, still runs like I had it on day 1. Shouldn't have any problems as long as it's serviced.

I can't see much difference between an expensive black edition fabia and a monte carlo in black, not worth the £5000 extra. I'd rather buy a 6-12 month old fabia monte and save thousands. sat nav and different seat colour maybe.

what do you mean, don't fit? it's the other way round, the evo's and scoobies don't fit in with the VRS's. the skoda totally outclasses the cheaply built or showe-off bmw's.

Isn't the 1.2 basically the same engine as 1.6 but with 1 less cylinder? The 1.2htp is my choice good balance of economy, price, running cost, reliable, good in town and on the open road. The only compromise is the low fuel consumption at higher speeds 70mph+ on the pre fl models, I believe the fl models have higher gearing in the top gear.. It suits most people's needs.

I don't think the 5mm difference will much be noticeable The Monte recently have the same wheels as the fabia VRS, older Monte models have 'Trinity' alloys

I'm going to use Collinite 915 before the winter. After washing my car can I leave it wet or best to dry? Collinite recommends using a damp cloth to wax.

I'll not put any more layers of extra gloss then..and just wash & dry my car as usual (every 2 weeks) for the next 2 months or so.. edit: should I start the process (i.e. clay, autoglym srp, etc) all over again in September (which I prefer not to as I've just spent hours on it and my arms are quite sore only for it to be removed after 2 months) or is it ok to put collinite 915 on top of the extra gloss protection?

I have applied 3 layers of Autoglym extra gloss protection. How long does it last before my layer of polish underneath is exposed to the elements? I want to put 2 or 3 thin layers of my Collinite 915 before the winter but not sure if I should keep topping up with Autoglym extra gloss protection selant during the summer (as I have plenty left) or just go straight to the Collinite?

So which engine(s) does it come in? the 1.2tsi 105 or 1.6tdi 105? For £15k I don't expect the 1.2htp

If all 1.6tdi's are the same engine but different maps, then why is the 75bhp and 90bhp weigh the same and the 105bhp heavier, larger something... intercooler? radiator? bigger brakes?

Which insurance company are you using. I'm an advanced driver too, over 25, etc. but makes no difference to the premium when I tell insurances companies

Get the lower side grilles colour coded and some CSR eye brows.
