Wow, Those are some increadble prices going on there. As a young driver, That i-kube makes me recoil in disgust. fit a gps system in my car?! lordy thats some scary ****. I wonder if it does crash speed loging or log when it dectects high G forces. Oh god it brings out the inner Civlib nut and reminds me of the kind of nannied kid tat they are starting to do on mobile phones, I would be the first to purchase one of these to have with the unit DealExtreme: $79.56 Super Mini Cigarette Lighter GPS Blocker Give admiral a try, I had serious luck with them, quinn used to be the one that came up top for every quote, I added 2 named drivers and all of a sudden admiral were 500 quid cheaper. Good luck with the hunt for the insurance for the anti-youf

Hey everyone. I am having dificulty choosing speakers for my fabia as there is the size issue. I cant find any specific model recomendations or ideas about how deep the speakers can be. Can anyone make any good sugestions? I am quite tempted by Hertz Dieci DCX 165 off car audio direct but i dont know if they will be too deep Thanks in advance and sorry if this has been asked to death

I have a 2001 Skoda Fabia that I managed to purchase with a blown front left speaker and seeing as I am still getting used to how awesome it is to be able to drive and have music at the same time I want to replace it (curse those driving lessons with their straight laced no music no window down approach to driving ) Now I believe that I have read as many threads as I can find here on Fabia I speaker fitting, I have the tools ready, An idea on what adapters I am going to use but there is one thing left that I have no clue on. The speakers themselves. I am wondering what anyone who has upgraded their speakers here used to get around the lack of depth available for fitting speakers, I am trying to stay away from components for my sanity but any recommendations would be very very welcome One more thing, With the speaker adapter rings, I have been looking at Car Audio Direct - VW/Seat/Skoda speaker adaptors - Fitting Adaptor But as I understand it any golf ones from that era will work, And as such I am curious if this will work SAK-3103 VW Bora Beetle Golf 165mm Speaker Adaptor Kit on eBay, also, Speakers, In-Car Entertainment GPS, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 12-May-09 15:26:44 BST)

It is 'only' group 9, So not much worse than some of the larger repmobiles, Adrian flux would give me a quote a 19 with 0 no claims so with some luck you should be good. Give Admiral a try aswell, Their quotes have been coming out hilariously cheap for me and a lot of my friends

Cheapest way to insure Skoda Fabia Classic at 17!
Case replied to DaveBennett's topic in Insurance & Legal Issues
Hahahah, I found exactly that. For some reason when I get quotes off Admiral they come out about 200-300 cheaper than the rest (1300ish at 19 in my skoda fabia 1.9 SDi) and not much more next year for a VRS oh dear 2 older people who have been driving for a while added to the policy worked about 200quid of savings magic onto my quote too, You can get 'cheap' insurance just keep working at it -
Just to chip in with another hey me too! I am 19 with a 2001 Skoda Fabia 1.9SDi and I pay £1322 (under my name), I was quite suprised to get a quote arround this price, Ford Fiestas and other more traditional first car cars were coming up arround 1500-1700 (So very pleased I went with the Fabia over a Fiesta) Mr. Ree, It sounds like you have it pretty much covered there. That is a very fair and quite awesome deal you are giving you son and also the guarenteed 'trade-in' is something i would love the option of
