Cheers Anyone know how much they are? Just to depress my further!

Sorry - no they are just the standard headlamps.

This morning I drove into the back of someone at a T-junction! They moved then I moved they stopped and I didn't. It was a low speed impact but it has broken the brackets off the back of the passenger side head light so now it flaps in the breeze. My question is, can I get a new grey back for the headlight or do I need to buy a complete unit? Also does anyone know how much they are? Cheers

I paid 31 quid including delivery, the delay was due to issue at Green i.e. they kept defaulting on the order, or that is what I was told. I got it at the end of May when they got a shipment in.

Right now the Green filter has finally arrived from Demon Tweeks!!!! 6 week wait was a little excessive! What do I buy next, a Cupra Intake or a Seat Strut Brace? I will get both eventually but need to do this gradually!

After crawling under the car over the weekend, I think it is the heat sheild next to the exhaust back box. Probably just get a couple of sticky pads to stop it vibrating.

When a close the boot or any of the offside doors I can hear a metallic rattle, it sounds to me like a heat shield is coming loose. Has any one else had this? If so do you know what it is and what the fix is? Cheers PS I'm asking as I can't be arsed crawling under the back end of the car!

@ Hellfire The Fabia vRS was originally designed to be on 17inch wheels and be 25 mm lower, so I have been reliably informed. It had smaller wheels and higher ride height because it need to work well on Czech roads, and Skoda couldn't justify the cost of different suspension setups. Also the speedo won't be out if you get the correct tyre sizes, i.e. lower profile on the 17s.

I have noticed that after I have cleaned the wheels on my Furby there is a light brown-ish stain left behind. Now I don't like using acid based wheel cleaner as the laquer peeled off my last set of alloys and it was blamed on the wheel cleaner I used when I looked in to getting them re done (I just sold the car instead!?). So any suggestions how I can get rid of this stain, or any recommendations for non acid based wheel cleaners. Cheers

I saw a picture of the Golf from the other side in on the newspapers and surprised that the driver didn't end up in a wooden over coat.

I might be weird, but I find car cleaning very relaxing. At Easter I spent 6 hours cleaning SWMBO's car, which wouldn't be too bad but it is a Smart City Coupe!!!!!!! But this weekend I see a whole day being spent cleaning both of them!

The screen cracked in my Fabia 4 weeks after I got it. I didn't remember a stone hitting the screen but there was definately a chip from a stone in it. So paid
