LE Damaged Wheels Register
smile replied to Broadside Barry's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
I have sold my LE back to the dealer I purchased it from, not at all impressed with Skoda customer service, they did not want to know about my wheels, said they had no other complaints from other LE owners reference the wheels, what a load of bull, will NEVER buy Skoda again. -

I registered my complaint with skoda six months ago so for to say they have not had any other complaints is utter rubbish think I will ring again tomorrrow -
if they are dealer fit they will sit proud of the bumper and will not work in conjunction with the bolero

smile replied to JLindsayW's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
i have brought one from my local dealer and it was about £130 the standard vrs wheels is about £180 so that tells you a lot about the quality of the limited edition wheel -

smile replied to Broadside Barry's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
i have been in touch with julie inhester at skoda custermer services about my le wheels as i have had to replace one wheel plus another is damaged , i have sent pictures which were past on to the technical team they replied that damage was caused by driving style . i have now asked for information on how many le wheels they have sold compared to standard vrs wheels in the last 6 months . she also said that she was not aware of anyone else coplaning about the quality of the le wheel. so when you ring be sure ta ask for her. -

to right i love my wheels, till it's time to clean them, they take me as long to clean as takes to wash the rest of the car :S

Ok here we go since picking up my brand new vrs le 1 I reversed in to a post . 2 Someone keyed it. 3 Someones dog decicded to try and get in the boot with the boot closed massive scratches on rear bumper. 4 Buckled alloy from pothole. 5 Stone chip on bonnet. 6 Someone opened their door onto it in supermarket. All in 6 months and 6000 miles
-
It does fit in the spare wheel hole but is to tall? fat? wide? (you know what i mean !) so the boot carpet doesn't sit flat.

I have orderd a new wheel from my local dealer it cost 150 inc VAT ,they would not discount it at all , not even when i started crying !. But they did say that it was the 4th le wheel they had orderded since the 18th of Jan , i wonder if the le wheels are as strong as the normal vrs wheel ?....
-
Thats not as bad as i expected thanks for that
-
Cheers will do that . I was keeping an eye out for the holes but this one was in the middle of the road not the kerb side , will take pictures and speak to the council tomorrow.
-

Parking sensor graphics on Bolero
smile replied to PowerMalc's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
I have had a set of dealer fit rear parking sensors retro fitted to my vrs le, which has a bolero headunit, at a cost of £260 and can confirm they do not interact with the bolero in any way, they just emit a beep from the boot. Very disappointed, no better than a cheap ebay set. -
