1. Im saying nothing about whether im cute of not! You decide. Loving the tumbleweed
2. Haha worth a shot really wasnt it! the blueline was my first ever car at 18 then had that for 3 years then the vital mistake now back to a likkle fabia again.
3. Hi, Ive been a member on here for its got to be about 3 years, but on selling my Fabia Blueline I have never been back on (about 4 months ago). When i rebelled and bought a Renault Clio (new shape) What a bad decision that was. Wont be doing that again! What a pile of crap. Bought it on finance in September and took it back in to the shop on Saturday to get shut. We didnt gel. So now im back to another fabia. 56 plate fabia 1.2 sport in red. Love these little babies and wont be doing something as silly as trading it in for a bloody renault again. Hope to speak to familiar names and faces again. Vix
4. I didnt know we had a free one when we joined. I never had one.

Can I have one pretty please.
5. Well I was lucky because the chain didnt damage the engine because it was just starting if I was travelling this could have been a lot worse! Just a word of warning. What I cant understand is Skoda said it looks like the chain has been messed with!?!?! How is that possible when its in the engine. Apparently the adjuster broke and this caused the problem. I thought that the chain lasted the life of the car whereas the belt only lasts 60/70k and my car only has 28k on the clock!
6. He has returned (costing £500!) with a new timing chain. Is this something that breaks often?
7. Just waiting to hear back from Skoda now. And waiting to hear the inevitable price. Completely lost without my car though.
8. Hi guys, Spoke to you all a while ago after going in to skoda and them telling me that the mapping sensor needed to be changed. This has now been changed and the car has been serviced. Tuesday night I started the car to go home and lets just say it wouldnt move with some horrible noises. So poor Horace was towed away by the AA. It has since been stuck at skoda waiting to be looked at. Got a call last night to tell me that the timing chain/belt has some off and damage is unknown so today they are taking the front of the engine off to inspect all the damage and they reckon it will cost £500. Just wondering if this is something that happens very often or if something had been recalled and missed because the car has only done 28000 miles. Thanks
9. wants to be little again. When there is nothing to think about, but do you have lights on your shoes!

10. No its not the genuine part from ebay. I know its not reconditioned and its brand new which is always a plus. Will see when its fitted and let you know if it solves the problem.
11. Thank you really appreciate your help guys. Just bought the Map Sensor from ebay. Thank for your help.
12. Here you go just got the faults and will list them below: 16490 manifold/air pressure g71/596 not a plausable signal p0106 16556 fuel trim (bank 1) system too rich p0172.
13. The car went back on to another diagnositic yesterday and it threw up two other faults. Not entirely sure what they are because 3 mechanics didnt know! Which is helpful. I know one of the problems was something to do with the manifold and something being too rich. Majorly confused with the car at the moment just waiting for the mechanics to get back to me.
14. Well this is what confuses me. At first he told me that there was a problem with the sensor and then said it was the airflow meter. He put it on a diagnostic machine and the fault was the sensor if I remember rightly.
