  1. Anyone had any experiences with the Corghi 4 system?
  2. I use the Halfords super concentrate stuff and it does the job for me.
  3. I normally fill when tank is near empty. As soon as the nozzle goes in it cuts out. Is there anything mechanical in the pipe to the tank that could be causing this?
  4. Tried every possible angle to no avail. It's as if the tank is full when the pump clicks back.
  5. Hi all. Not sure if anyone else has had this problem but my Diesel Vrs has stopped accepting fuel with the nozzle in the way it should be. Instead I have to hold it at the opening and trickle it in. I thought it may have been the station I use but having tried two others it still happens. Took me 10 minutes to fill 50 litres in yesterday! Any thoughts?
  6. I know Ryan and Stephen well at Obd. What sort of gains did you get and what sort of money? I travel all over the country with work so it may well have been me. Have a briskoda sticker in the back window!

  7. What dealer did you go to and who did you use for the remap?
  8. It is the harness going to the main bulb. Just below the main bulb is two wires that both have silver thin strips of metal that attach into a black piece of plastic that has two wires leading back into the light. It is this connection causing the problem.
  9. I start with a traffic film remover, then wash with meguairs gold class, rinse, dry then de tar with tardis and then clay with Bilt Hamber soft clay. Then put a coat of Bilt Hamber Auto Balm on followed by a coat of Collinite 476. Good for a few months then.
  10. I have a problem with my headlight and hope someone can help. I have had a set of HID's in my 2010 Vrs since I got it. Aftermarket kit might I add. Light stopped working last week so ordered replacement bulb. Fitted it this evening but have discovered a problem. On the cable from the ballast is a connector that has two very thin slivers of metal that attach into a black piece of plastic which has black and brown wires going into the headlight. Problem is that it was corroded and rusted and as a result the light still won't work. I guess it could be cut to allow the wires to be exposed to connect onto the metal slivers but is there any easier way or indeed can this little black piece of plastic be bought? It has Hella stamped on it. Any help appreciated.
  11. Hi guys. Car has just turned 40,000 miles and the service light is on. What should I expect to need done on the second service? Car is running well and tires are in good condition. Any thoughts appreciated. It's a diesel cr Vrs.
  12. Been stopped once in the vrs but that was a checkpoint due to the increased dissident threat here in N.I.
  13. I have mine above the temperature dial just beside the rear screen demister button.
  14. I have the Hankook S1 Evo on mine. Good in wet and dry and even moderate snow!
  15. PSNI use a few pre facelift unmarked VRS in traffic branch. Most of the squad cars are both marked and for security reasons in the border areas unmarked 140 pd Octavias.
  16. I would like to buy the spare wheel and tool kit to fit the 18" vrs wheels. Can I buy a space saver wheel complete with tools or is it a full sized wheel? Need a parts code as well as I may get the better half to get me this for Chritmas.
  17. I had to explain to the Psni at a checkpoint what they were and the new legislation surrounding them. You would think the police would know these sort of things!
  18. I done the exact same thing myself at the weekend!
  19. Well not quite, but my daughter stuck a two pence piece into the Cd player on my Bolero. It has gone right in. Is it major surgery time to remove it and if so what are the options? Cheers
  20. I dont know of any laws relating to this but I do know we had to have a special insurance policy to carry stock and samples. The police are also aware of this. You might want to check with your employer they have more than fully comp for you.
