  1. Sorry, yes the outside ones.
  2. Been spending on the Citigo lately, got some carbon effect door sill kick plates coming, along with a leather steering wheel cover, some aluminium rings for airvents, heater controls and lights. Not to mention a set of Ronal Turbos 15" x 7" with Yokahama Bluearths 195/50x15. Will post pics when all arrive and are fitted
  3. Anyone know if the Citigos door handles are the same as other VWs or Skodas, for example Fabia Mk1 or Polo etc please.
  4. My Citigo is my third new Skoda and I noticed both my Fabia and Roomster were very bad at picking up stonechips; so was interested to see if VW building the Citigo might improve thing. Well, the answer is no.... after 4300 miles its terrible. The bonnet has around six, the front bumper countless and even the doors. Being white they do show up, and Ive got a few of those little rust spots in the paint that the Up! owners keep on about. Just took me 3 hours to wash and polish it, covered in tar, salt and other stuff.... should have gone for silver!
  5. I notice the glovebox makes some annoying sounds, but only for the first couple of miles then it goes away. Get someone to hold it shut tightly when driving and see. You do tend to get rattles from todays plastic infested cars in cold weather.
  6. I work on the railway, years ago a mad woman wrote to BR to say a locomotive with a number I cant remember would be involved in a crash, it was and they then renumbered it.... it was involved in another crash! What Im saying is, a number wont make something lucky or unlucky. Its in the car from the build, thats how it works.
  7. All great advice, just be prepared to lose a small fortune as nearly new will have lost the VAT and a chunk already. You can expect to lose up to 3k.
  8. VW stole many patents and technology from Tatra and Skoda to make the beetle. Hitler told the designers not to worry about where they got their ideas and designs from, as Germany was occupying those countries anyway. So, VW just copied it. In the 1960s, VW settled out of court with Tatra and paid a huge amont to them for copyright infringment. As far as I can see, VW have continued copying ever since!!! Have a look at the original design sketch for the Polo, its just a blatently ripped off Fiat 127.
  9. Yes please, its a truly poor gearbox for noise. My 1955 Austin has a quiter box AND zero soundproofing so the argument re soundproofing is nonsense.
  10. Do you not think youre being just a little anal? I mean, its only a rear inner arch not the Mona Lisa!!!!
  11. I have a five door, and yes grab handles in the rear.
  12. £275 isnt much, wont be cambelt as its a check only item at 100,000 miles plus!
  13. Yes, the signal strength is poorer in mine than my previous two Skodas.
  14. Ive messed with the treble and bass, and found a loud setting for the aux input.... its nothing special but far better than it was. Miss the system in my Roomster, that was very good.
