  1. It's not about the volume. It's all about the quality not the quantity. Please be more constructive. I think you need a gag not ear plugs.
  2. Hello, I drive a 1.6 petrol Roomster. I currently have a Pioneer PRS 4 channel amplifier and a Sinfoni 2 channel amplifier in the car, with mid bass and tweeter speaker. I also have the Pioneer P99 head unit. I intend to add a subwoofer and 1 more mono block amplifier and 1 more pair of mid range speaker to make my set up be a 3 way active speaker + sub woofer set up. I am not sure if the Roomster's alternator is up to the job of keeping the juice flowing. Don't want to be left with a dead battery. Anyone know what is the amperage of the stock alternator? Can I upgrade the alternator? If so, can tell me what is the part number of this upgrade alternator? Thank you very much.
  3. My Roomster pulls left too! I was starting to think I am crazy. Rotate the wheels, multiple wheel alinement and balance but still pull left. Looks like I am not the only one.
  4. I hit a rather deep and large pot hole at about 70km/h. Front left wheel was damaged. One area of the wheel was flattened. Wanted to knock it back to round but when they remove the tyres, they found the rims cracked. No choice but to change a set of rims.
  5. I had the GY Eagle F1 GSD3 fitted on my roomster too. When I hit a pot hole and dented my 17in rims, I decided to down size to 16in. Now I have Bridgestone Potenza RE11. Better and more quiet. Not sure about winter as I am located in Asia. But sure good grip in very wet weather.
  6. Any one have a sub installed in the boot of the Roomster? Pics would be most appreciated.
  7. Thanks for your reply. I drive between 60 - 100km a day. I only listen to music when I am driving. They check the battery right after I drove in. I guess my battery is ok.
  8. I have a 2 channel and a 4 channel amp. DVD 2Din headset, CD changer, 11 speakers, sound processor. 2 Channel amp is Sinfoni Amplitude 45.2 http://pitstop.oneshift.com/idb_view_item.php?iid=3782&did=0&cid=0&bid=307 4 Channel amp is Pioneer PRS-D4100F http://www.pioneer.com.sg/storefront/ProductDetail/default.asp?ProductId=490&CatId=,2,26 Also have 2 Hella 550 roof mounted spot lights http://www.adventureaccessories.com/lighting%20pages/hella550.html May install another mono amp + sub woofer soon.
  9. Hello everyone, I just had my Roomster Petrol 1.6V check by my dealer and they told me that my battery load test fail. Its about 6mths old. I think is due to the large amounts of ICE I have installed in my car and in addition I have 2 HELLA spotlights installed. What spec / size of battery I should get to replace? If I get a bigger battery, would the "charger" be not strong enough to charge the battery? Would it cause worst fuel efficiency?
  10. I have 205/40/17 fitted to my Roomster. The ride is not hard or not comfortable. But in my next set of tires, I would change to 15 or 16in wheels/tires. The car just looks funny with low profile tires with large gaps between the tires and fenders.
  11. Oh so sorry! I mean Kpa hahahah
  12. I am curious too. I have changed my tires to 17in 205/40/17 tires. Do I still pump to 230psi front and 310psi rear? 310psi sounds on the high side. Is it ok to just pump 230psi all round? I mostly alone or just 1 or 2 passengers.
  13. So I guess 1000 is normal. Thanks Just feel some vibration at 1000 and at 750 is super smooth and quiet
  14. After a visit to the workshop, no more 1000+ rpm idel. But now it idels at 1000rpm but some times dips to 750rpm. What rpm does your Roomster idel?
  15. sorry Peter, my Roomster is an auto I mention the problem and the 'toe up' to the workshop and they manage to solve the problem. They told me its due to "switch in the box behind acclerator"
