Hi..I have an Octy 1.9tdi, 2008 and had it just serviced. It appears that my Console Bushes are loose and whilst not being recommended to change now, it's being advised that it should be done. Anyone know the costs involved and is it better to get OEM or are there better ones. IS it just the bushes or is there more that needs replaced? Any thoughts guys would be gratefully received. Hi I have a 2007 Octy (Elegance), no steering wheel controls. The steering wheel is a bald as a billiard ball. Any suggestions on a nice sporty wheel to replace..of course, I'll need to get an air bag for it if it's different to the current one. Any suggestions welcome. ta.

Hi...in the wet, my drivers door windows goes down and up with no noise. In the dry, when putting it down or up, it squeals like crazy. I have used furniture polish on the window seals and it made no real difference. All other windows are fine and make no noise. Any help please would be grateful, as it's driving me mad.

As I like having dlr lights. I can program the headlights to Scandinavian like Volvo but wonder if I can do same with front fogs

Hi..a real strange question. Is there anyway in VCDS to have the instrument panel illuminated whilst driving without the side/ head lights on? i.e. if you put the side lights on, the instrument panels light up in green. Reason is that my old dad finds the panels dark when driving during the day. Of course he could just switch on his sidelights, but that would be too sensible and easy! Looking for some help guys. Thanks

Hi...I have a 2.0 petrol, 2002 Octavia, which until recently the temp gauge always sat at the 1/2 way mark when warm. Now it sometimes moves from 1/4 to 1/2 (when it normally would be at 1/2). More recently, it has stayed at 1/4, yet the engine have been warnmed through. I used the heater in the car and put it on cold to see if the gauge would rise, but it stayed the same. This morning, the car temp gauge is back at 1/2 (normal). The car han't lost any coolant, and the levels are fine. Wondering whether it is the thermos, or temp sensor. Any idea? If it is the sensor, how easy to change, and how do you do that, and where is is located? Cheers. Don

Hi all..now this might sound like a funny question, but here goes. I want to change the spakplugs on my car. Took the plastic cover off and can see the plug cables. What is the best way to pull the cables off without breaking the leads? Also, the two middle plugs seem very tight...do I have to take anything off the car to gain access to those two, or is it just using an angled plug remover? Any help would be appreciated.
