  1. Just wanted to apologise to everyone for the stoppage late on in the day. I span at Williams. Thought it was tyre related, so started limping back to the pits - I almost span again at Nelson though, so pulled straight off and the session got red flagged. Turned out that somehow, one of the core plugs from my gearbox had popped out! Really not something i could have prepared for, but i'm just glad they got the track re-opened afterwards. Our group had a great day overall though. Thanks Richard for organizing. Definitely one of the better days we've done in terms of numbers on track / general driving standards
  2. We’re all fuelled up and on our way. Its a bit “fresh” this morning!
  3. Hi, yes I could probably post them as long as I can find some boxes. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks Steve
  4. As titled, i have the track wheel set up from my Octavia up for sale separately, as the new owner didn't want them. Wheel specs: 7.5J x 18" 5x112 ET46 Skoda "themisto" - originally from the top of the range superb. The wheels were from a 2010 Superb that had done 30k miles & they have since done 2 trackdays in my hands, so are in very good condition PRICE - £SOLD (Please bear in mind these are £175 each from skodaparts http://www.skodaparts.com/product/superb-themisto-alloy-wheel-18-inch-2008-2013-21074 ) Collection from Ramsgate, Kent.
  5. Now on eBay with added info / pictures : CLICK HERE Reduced to £5,000 for freedom members
  6. Still for sale - Cleaned and waxed over the weekend. Just waiting on the logbook to come back from DVLA for the plate change.
  7. As pictured, both front bushes replaced with powerflex bushes. These will fit mk1 octavias. In theory they would also fit Mk4 golf, but one of the threads for the arb has threaded (not used on octavias). Any q's please ask SOLD
  8. Engine work was done by jkm in December 2010 @ approx 50k, most recent cambelt and water pump was march 2015 @ approx 95k (now on 103). Ive got receipts for all the work done to backup.
  9. Thanks for the kind words - It's such a difficult car to price, as you can get "standard" VRS's fairly cheap nowadays and that's what most people will compare it to. In reality it's basically an edition 30 golf / Audi S3, with added extras, for about £4k less! Real world mpg figures it's not dissimilar to the cars mentioned above. I do 5-10 miles a day in it and pottering around town the average is probably low 20's. On a motorway run though you will easily see high 30's.
  10. Reluctantly up for sale is my rather special 2007 (57) Skoda Octavia VRS 2.0T Petrol/Manual/ Black Magic MOT - 27 July 2017 Mileage - 103k Full documented history with a big bundle of receipts for everything. Above standard spec includes, Heated front seats, Jumbo box, Cruise control, Maxidot, Stream MP3 Headunit. Performance upgrades include: Full KO4 Turbo conversion & downpipe, running Revo stage 2 custom mapping with dyno printouts. Forge 'Twintercooler' & associated pipework APR High pressure fuel pump APR Bolt kit Induction Kit Piper Cat back exhaust with sports cat. Koni FSD Shocks & Springs, Poly Bushes Eibach Anti Roll Bar Whiteline Anti lift Kit SACHS Performance Clutch Quaife Limited Slip Diff Porsche 4 Pot front Brembos (NQSBBK) running Brembo (312mm) discs and pads. Rear Window Tints 18" Wheels professionally powder coated Anthracite Grey 18" Superb "themisto" diamond cut wheels with R888r tyres also available at extra cost (will offer these to the buyer first before selling seperately) Forge style quick shift kit. The car is being used daily by myself, but i also use it on the occasional trackday and a Nurburgring trip last year. It really is a perfect all-rounder and wants for nothing! Currently has a private plate on which will be removed before sale. Any queries please ask. The car is located in Ramsgate, KENT. PRICE - £5,500 o.v.n.o I would potentially be interested in a tdi of some sort in part exchange, but would prefer a cash sale. (Better pictures to follow, as this is all i have on my pc at the moment!)
  11. Have you got any pictures? Is posting an option at all?

  15. Thanks! I'm certainly no racing driver, but the car is pretty capable. Main highlights are a k04 conversion, quaife LSD, and in this video it had a set of Toyo R888r tyres on which made quite a difference over standard road tyres. Yep pretty much as above - it's a home made headrest mount with a GoPro 3+black. Drop me a PM if you want pics / any other info I also caught this on camera, if anyone knows the VW T5 owner. I honestly thought it was going all the way over at the time!
  16. Had a brilliant day yesterday! Thanks to Richard for organising. Thanks to stevobeavo for the passenger laps. Here's a video of a few laps towards the end of the day, where it had dried out and i'd swapped my tyres over: Looking forward to the next one!
  17. Pretty sure you will need a noise test regardless of how quiet the car is, as they mark down your make / model etc. and sign off your sticker.
  18. Hi Stephen, I'll take the set of 888r's if still available please. Can probably collect over the weekend. I'll drop you a PM.
