  1. Hello, I have Octavia VRS TSI Estate DSG... my passenger side dipped headlight bulb has gone, it’s a xenon with cornering. can anyone please help with what size replacement I need ? All it says in manual is how to replace it but not what size to get. all help appreciated Ian
  2. Apart from that I'm made up with it. Your probably saying to yourself, why did I opt for a TSI DSG VRS if I'm economy conscious and I guess you're right
  3. do u mean the trip odometer or trip on the computer.. have never reset them.... any ideas?? Each time I fill up i push the button on dash that turns odometer back to zero .
  4. No I've mollycoddled it from new. How do you explain then why my range indicator says I'm only going to get 280 miles on a full tank ??
  5. My Sprint Yellow Estate has now clocked up just over 800 miles and constantly says I'm only getting 22.5 to the gallon and when I fill it to the brim with unleaded my range indicator says 280 mile. Its all mostly stop start commute journeys and nearly always in eco mode so I'm not too happy with economy of the TSI but I'm stuck with it now for three years so I guess I'll just have to get on with it
  6. Right .... left it with them for 3 hours.. went shopping around Liverpool One... Tony Casford sevice dept rings me... all sorted... just required a minor adjustment. Great service from Alex Lawrie Skoda Liverpool. It was lashing down when me and my missus went back to collect it and Tony drove it round for us right to the door so we wouldnt get wet and even opened the passenger door for my wife. Just the little things hey ???? Anyway headlight washers now working spot on.. happy days.
  7. Of to Alex Lawrie in a minute to see what the problem is...not too much of a drama I hope...will post when I get back home. One week old and taking it back already....well p****d off to say the least !!
  8. Any probs with your headlight washers ?? Mine dont retract fully back in to the bumper, have to push them all the way home with my finger. Taking it back tomorrow for investigation and hopefully a quick fix.
  9. Picked up last week.....100 mile on the clock...chuffed to bits...with heated screen !!!
  10. Picked mine up this week....TSI DSG Estate with heated screen/seats/washer jet nozzles
  11. please post outcome before I go mad with WD 40
  12. Picked mine up yesterday same problem with both....tried them a few times this morning and gey presto, n/s now retracting fully so will keep an eye on drivers side to see if it remedies itself too
  13. Thanks will look at previous posts... drove it to work this morning and the n/s washer seems to have resolved itself, however, I still need to physically push the drivers side one in. Only talking of half a centimetre if that, so hoping if n/s one is sorted now after a bit more use the drivers side will follow suit.
