  1. 8V Diesel for the win remember that R32 you upset on the way to Manchester Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  2. I witnessed Sparky's PB run and have been in his car a few times Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  3. I don't think many if any people have bothered with EGR removal on CR170 yet so that's probably why they didn't want to. Get Stage2 now rick
  4. Thats the same as the one on my old PD170 just unplug it and plug it back in
  5. Ive got the Stage2 Daily Silent kit in my Stage2+ 2.0TFSI CDLA it is quiet however it was very loud when fitted to my PD170 2.0TDI
  6. Lots of places sell them Helix, Sachs, Southbend, Spec you can't however get an upgraded DMF, its OEM or nothing
  7. 1/4 mile's dont really prove anything, T.Spark ran a 13.5 with only 220bhp if you get a **** launch then its game over 30-130 on the other hand gives a better idea of a cars real performance
  8. Nahhhhhh your PD170 isnt the fastest JBS Told me when they did mine originally, they could only supply me with a graph that had 235bhp on it but..... one of the runs it made 400bhp they just deleted the run by accident so couldn't put it on the graph
  9. if you have got 10-15 forums bitching about it though of course hes going to be a little wound up I can see his point everybody has got an opinion but somepeople try to make there opinion fact even though its not I know nothing about fuels apart from my LCR doesnt like anything under 98 ron, due to the APR 98 ron mapping
  10. I had a Southbend Silent Stage2 Daily (Organic) Clutch and SMF fitted to my Stage2 Leon PD170, i also had THS FR3 Engine mounts fitted which made the whole car vibrate. It was fitted by Unit 18, initial thoughts where it was VERY loud (even thought it was supposed to be silent), after about 2k miles it will still loud, sometimes you would dip the clutch and it would be silent but then after a few seconds it would come back loud, Also when crusing slowly it would make awful noises. Apart from being loud though it felt amazing, car felt so much better, Pedal feel was great When we removed it from the PD170 Leon (sold the leon) we noticed even though it had done 4k miles it wasnt worn in, mainly because i live in MK so i dont do alot of stop start driving Ive got it sitting in my garage, it will fit in my new LCR, im half tempted to fit it to it (being a petrol it should be quieter), APR have said to me that Southbend kits are amazing but avoid the silent range this is what puts me off.
  11. Ive had several DPF Delete's map's done on my old Leon PD170 all using Milltek DPF Delete pipe and Milltek Cat-Back (Later Replaced with Scorpion 3" straight pipe with no boxes) 1. JBS "WILD" V1 -car felt amazing, but started stuttering like hell in 1st gear and in 5th/6th on motorway, i fitted SEAT £2 Gasket to EGR and that resolved the motorway stuttering, car was supposed to be 235bhp (JBS RR Figures) made just over 180bhp on Shark's RR 2.JBS "WILD" V2 -JBS Contacted me and said they had revised the map, this solved the 1st gear stuttering, Made 205bhp on Sharks RR, Made 206bhp on AwesomeGTI RR (should of been 235bhp according to JBS) I then visited Shark Performance to get the car Re-Done using the existing Milltek Hardware,Scorpion 3" Straight pipe (No Boxes STUPIDLY LOUD) and Darkside Developments EGR Delete, Using a STS i could switch between 3 programs 1. Stage 0, Felt very smooth compared to OEM, Didnt smoke at all, MOT Friendly 2. Stage2, Felt alot more powerful than the JBS Wild map, Made 216bhp on sharks rollers (compared to JBS Wild V2 205bhp), was smokey 3. Stage2+ , Was alot more powerful than Stage2, Smoke was stupidly black though, Made 228bhp on Sharks rollers, The smoke levels on this map attracted attention from police (Not me, My friend Graeme got stopped), we also doubt the 2+ Map would pass MOT, Mikko (Works for Shark) said he would probably never release this map to the public. I can say however in my 2+ Years of DPF Free motoring i never had a single problem with either the JBS or Shark map (apart from the stuttering of original JBS map), never had a bust sensor or anything. in my opinion when it comes to PD170 DPF Delete, there is only one company to use, thats Shark. When it comes to CR170 DPF Delete, Shark and REVO are the market leaders. A guy called Jamie who also runs the Shark 2+ Map is about to install a Hybrid PD170 Turbo on his car aswell so hes starting to push it abit more, I wanted to at the time install a Garret GTB2260VK turbo but decided to buy a 2.0TFSI instead and go for 400bhp with this
  12. Well known on IbizaoC and LeonOC Just the other forum lol
  13. If you read all of the court documents they where Ex-APR staff who moved here As you can probably see from my signature i am running APR Stage1 on my LCR 2.0Tfsi 265, i live in MK and wanted to get APR, so to have APR HQ round the corner from me was a big bonus! Very happy with the map and customer service (Spent a few late nights at APR now playing on the RR with cars) Cant wait to get a downpipe so i can get Stage2 flashed
  14. Shark for me My car was previously De-DPF'd by JBS using Custom Code remap, felt ace for 2 years then i realised that the quoted figures where pants Been down to see Shark (2 Hour drive each way) As i know Rob who works there, Spent some time with Ben,Rob and Mikko and they are top guys My car now has 3 maps that are switchable via a Shark STS, ive got Stage 0 (Simply a DPF Delete), Stage 2 and Stage 2+ (Off Road Only) on my PD170, Mikko spent the best part of 5 hours running it on the RR and then changing bits. I was a bit scared that the mapping for stage 2 (daily map) wouldnt feel much different than the JBS DPF delete but how wrong i was, The JBS Map dumped loads of torque low down and then nothing, Shark map is very progressive, Means Launches are now alot smoother and car pulls alot harder, Not to mention the extra BHP and Torque it got
  15. 2.0TDI PD140 or PD170? Two Words - EGR Delete Fitted a Darkside Developments EGR Delete (Road Sport one, Retains the ASV) its solved engine stuttering (Well known on the PD170)
  16. You sure you want the SACHS one? the sachs one is like 1k+ and its an uprated Rattly one
  17. Just make sure you get the right SMF Sachs also make an uprated SMF kit which will rattle because the flywheel is alot lighter
  18. Yes it does! Skoda offer a SMF for the 1.9TDI though
  19. Skoda Do a SMF kit for the 1.9 which is better than a DMF, Enquire about it
  20. Yeh im guessing he does, i think Valeo where talking of making a 2.0TDI non-performance SMF dont know how far they got with it!
