  5. Hi, Im after some advice please people, I have a customer with a faulty Amundsen Sat Nav. Whilst my company repair sat navs, we mostly do the handheld ones, but as I have upgraded the headunit in my Octavia Im assuming eplacing the one in the Yeti may be as simple ( I haven checked any guides yet but shall) My main query is any direction as to the correct model on ebay and hsould it be just a straight swap or would any coding wiht the computer have to be done, to be compliant with the MAXIDOT for example? Thanks in advance

Does anyone have a picture with the Piano Black fitted, with silver trim elsewhere in the car, would be good to see what it looks like first, thanks..
  8. Hi, you wouldnt happen to know the part numbers for the cheaper black and piano black ones would you? Ive been given 1Z0 858 069 DL DF1 (£58) for the brushed alu (although elsewhere I have seen it as 1Z0 858 069 DK DF1) Its for a vRS FL Thanks
  9. I had mine replaced in a 1.9TDi DSG about 3 years ago, by an independant garage. Genuine part was £500 then at least £200 to fit it IIRC, maybe more think the bill was £800, I might have had some other work done though. I recommend them if your anywhere near Newcastle, Swift Motor Engineering in Westerhope

  14. OK, Finally got round to gettting the car detailed and have uploaded some pics, info is in the description, forgot to include it was machine polished also. The car was driven home with a front passanger and pics taken in the morning, with a layer of rain over the car, so the shine didnt come out so well in the pics. I think David did a good job, and a good guy to deal with. http://www.briskoda.net/forums/gallery/album/673-ddb-detail-newcastle/
