ok so the red rapid has its engine back in. not plumed yet. The engine in the pick up positioned and making engine mounts. Slow going.

I think it fits now. try again this week end. Need to line up gearbox with wheel bearings. the rapids are multiplying.

No it does not. Need to loose heating and breaks.

Last Saturdays job. See if engine fits. Oh work on an old rapid aswell.

I have been seeing a sweet caddy at santapod over the last few year with a vr6 and 4 motion. It looks fantastic, the guy did a great job and it runs 12s 1/4 miles. Thought about it but I like derv. I think they are going to get cheaper as fall from favour. If I can make it work awd comes in a later phase.

Finally after 6 years of getting it together, I started my engine swap into my skoda pickup. PD130 out of a fabia vrs. Job number 1. try and get it to fit in.

Hi My brothers birthday is coming up. He wants a rear anti roll bar for his modified rapid 136. In keeping with the rest of the car, any one know of either another car that has one that will fit, and can get from scrappy. Or, in we have to some where to buy one.

No Mystery. Just plain old technological incompetence. It never entered my head. I guess my iPad just does it automatically.

Does it make it more interesting with a bit of history. It used to be a delivery van for Willis motor company, South Ruislip. Yeh, maybe not that interesting, but skoda.

Sadly I need to move my skoda cube ( Forman with a back body) on. I just don't have time to fix and I need the space. The scrappy will £170. It will go in 2 weeks if no one wants it. It's a runner. The body work needs attention. A lot of attention. It would make great spares or repairs. It even has a spare engine and gearbox. Both fitted and spare engine are 1.9 desiel. There are new, still in box front break discs and pads. I need it to go as a lot, do not have time to sell bits. Pm me if interested.

Am trying to refurb my turbo. I am trying to buy a new CHRA. But am having difficulty in finding supply. I can get units for seats, vw and Audi. I can for octy 1 pd 130. But the numbers on the turbo differ by a letter so don't know if they match. Any body know if the match?

Forgot to say. I did not drain befor taking tank off.

When I had this, I took the expansion tank off and cleaned it seperatlty. Most oil/ Mayo floats. I then used a bought engin flush ( a caustic substance) followed instructions about running, times and flushing. Washed expansion tank second time. Flushed whis water second time and was clean. Took a lot of time.

Nice, what rpm did you shift at?

Did this track on the v8 power tour this year . It's an 1/8th of a mile including the stopping area. We ran with puddles to. Scary. But great for ****s ang giggles..
