  1. Thanks for the replies, I've managed to get the connector off now so all thats left to is drill the rivets stick the new one on and hope that it alls goes back together.
  2. My mum's fabia window regulator broke last week and i've foolishly decided to have a go at replacing it, I've managed to strip the door back to everything apart from the electric connector on the door lock mechanism, which despite my best efforts (and lots of swearing!) doesn't seem to want to disconnect from door lock. Does anyone know if there is any tricks to getting this to disconnect. It's a 2001 1.9 TDi elegance with electric windows all round and it's the front passenger side which has given up the ghost. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Alex
