Evening all so we’ve just been away with our caravan for a week on returning home started the wife’s Octavia 1.2 TSI Estate only for it to throw up an error for the stop/start system plus it seemed to have a misfire which eventually cleared itself. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong I’ve since turned off the stop/start in the menu on the info system. Many thanks Jim

Newbie question where is the cabin filter fitted on a Mklll Octavia please my wife’s car is getting horrible smells coming in the passenger area through the heater system so I want to change the filter to see if that stops the smell TIA

Hi I’m returning to the Skoda family or rather my wife is after after some 11 years her first car was an Octavia 1.6 petrol 2000 model which served her well but was a hatch back so not very practical for getting the dogs into the rear that we had at the time so ended up with a (downgrade) to a Renault Megane estate then a Volv V50 which has now been changed for a 2013 Octavia 1.2 TSI estate im driving a VW T5 Transporter panel van converted to a day van by myself & it’s used to transport our two dogs around plus towing out caravan on holidays. I retired back in September 2017 & the T5 was my retirement pressie/ project to myself 😂
