  1. I'm certain with all the mods that Josh has, the bhp at the wheels would be around 218-225 bhp. The 240+bhp seems a little "too high value" with the k03sport turbo and the stock injectors. I'd say with the k03sport and stock injectors you probably would land around 200-225 bhp at the flywheel, depending on the mods. Put a bigger turbo like Mitsubishi TD04 18T or IHI and bigger injectors, you probably land on 240+bhp.
  2. Hello, It's been some time since I last posted something at briskoda forum. Just wanted to post some pics on my car and one of my latest mods. Take a look at: http://www.skodaklubben.com/upload_cars/bilder/495/stora/Blandat%20IC%20064.jpg http://www.skodaklubben.com/upload_cars/bilder/495/stora/Blandat%20IC%20065.jpg http://www.skodaklubben.com/upload_cars/bilder/495/stora/Blandat%20IC%20068.jpg http://www.skodaklubben.com/upload_cars/bilder/495/stora/Blandat%20IC%20071.jpg http://www.skodaklubben.com/upload_cars/bilder/495/stora/Blandat%20IC%20072.jpg Cheers, FD
  3. If you want a Ford with muscle under the hood, I'd go for the Mustang or the T-ford. Eventhough they're not as good as the Chevrolet muscle's, they're great cars.
  4. What's the mods on your vRS Stuart?
  5. The Focus RS and the Focus Cosworth RS are two different cars. To begin with the Focus RS has front wheel drive and around 220bhp. The Focus Cosworth RS is going to have 4x4 and around 300bhp. That's the big differense, ofcourse there will be other differenses too. I imagine both cars are great performance cars, but for the price... I don't know... Cheers, FD
  6. I'm interested in knowing which groups are "safe" to do realtime measurment with vag-com. I was thinking of when using the menu "8 - Mesuring Blocks" in the engine section, which groups are safe do measure? The car is ofcourse the Octy vRS. Cheers, FD
  7. I'd say go for the cheapest remap you could get. So in this case it would be the Jabba remap. I don't know if you've heard about pulling out the maximum of the injectors dutycycle etc. would be interesting to see what the failures on injectors would be with those "remapped" cars. But then again, i've never heard or read in any thread that for example "I chipped my car and it broke". Cheers, FD
  8. Hey guys please help me out with this. It is really annoying the buzz-sound 3-4 secs after starting the car. I really want to disable this sound. /FD
  9. Ok, the seatbelt indicator went off, but the buzzer is still on. How can I disable it?
  10. I always have my seatbelt on too, but it would be nice to turn the bloody seatbelt warning off. It's one of the few disadvantages of the vRS /FD
  11. Does anyone know how to disable the seatbelt warning when starting the vRS, with vag-com? Another question while I'm at it, how can I read with vag-com if the skoda/audi/vw/seat car has fixed or flexible service interval? Thanks! /FD
  12. Czech engineers are know to have a good reputation throughout history, unfortunatly they got caught up by the big redblock society and devolved let's say 100 years. Instead of constructing nice classic cars like the ones in early 1900, they starded engineering other things like shoebox-cars for the redblock's. /FD
  13. I don't know about you guys but in my opinion it's good to have a variaty of things to choose from. If you don't like SUV's i can respect that, but you also need to respect people that do like SUV's And I like the Touareng a lot more that the ugly looking Cayene. Cheers, FD
  14. On the first statement I totally agree, but with the second hmmm no! The Touareng is a great SUV, it's in the same class as the Merc ML-series aswell as the BMW X5-series. Cheers, FD
  15. I've just finished installing a few gadgets to my vRS recently. Here's a peak of some of it, a Mattig EVO-wing and some Milotec stuff. http://www.skodaklubben.com/upload_cars/bilder/495/stora/002.jpg http://www.skodaklubben.com/upload_cars/bilder/495/stora/004.jpg http://www.skodaklubben.com/upload_cars/bilder/495/stora/005.jpg http://www.skodaklubben.com/upload_cars/bilder/495/stora/007.jpg http://www.skodaklubben.com/upload_cars/bilder/495/stora/008.jpg That's all for now, more to come later Cheers, FD
  16. I'm curious if the product from obdtool.com includes the ISO 9141-2 interface. Does it?
  17. Hi, does anyone know where to get a cheap vag-com serialcable (the one between the laptop and the odb-port)? Or maybe there is a schematic on how to solder one?! Cheers, FD
  18. Ofcourse the 928S-engine is a real beauty !! I might add that that's one of my favourite Porsche's, the first is the 911 Carrera Turbo
  19. Ok I admit I'm a big fan of Audi's RS-series, especially the latest RS6 with a nice V8 biturbo engine. But, that's nothing compared to an american musclecar like the ones that the fellow briskodians posted aswell as others like the corvette, viper, firebird, trans-am, opel lotus omega (just kidding) Rock'n'roll !!
  20. Who cares about gas, when you own such a car you don't give a damn about fuel. The V8 feeling alone is an adrenaline rush
  21. Last friday my boss came to work driving in his corvette stingray -74 with 550bhp !! He did a demonstration on what an american muscle really can do... well what can I say, he kept burning his tires driving in the first gear, second gear ... oh my god! Now suddenly I want to buy a corvette I don't like to talk **** about Skoda vRS or any other VAG-sportscar, but an american muscle just is what it is... :drive1:
  22. Is there anyone with a fitment guide for the Bailey DV30? Also, give me some hints on how to do proper maintenance to prevent anything unwanted (like VAG-com faultcode "check dv"). Cheers, FD
  23. I couldn't say that this is true if you look allover Greece. I'd say that Fiat's, Seat's & Alfa Romeo's are very popular. Trust me I'm Greek (who lives in Sweden) But it's only a matter of time until Skoda will increase in popularity (starting in Zakynthos). Cheers, FD
  24. Why not take your question with Revo directly? They seem quite helpfull in answering most of the questions that many of us make. /FD
  25. A lot of tuners use the stock 3bar fpr when putting out 220-230 bhp. It's nothing wrong with that, it's just that the injectors probably will run close to dangerous dutycycle. In other words, it would be interesting to see what the longterm reliability on the injectors will be with programs running them to the limit when on higher outputs. With the 4bar fpr and the right ECU-software the injectors will work less then the 3bar fpr, due to more fuel per dutycycle. That will result in a safer use of the injectors at higher outputs aswell as better atomisation. /FD
