Yippee!!! Just booked in to pick my new car up from Motorline Dartford on 22nd Dec! That's almost exactly 6 months from my order date (Diesel, Anthracite + Leather). Just hope we don't get any more blizzards, beginning to wish I'd gone for a Yeti this time....! :S

Woo Hoo! Informed on Tuesday that mine's been built & I just have to wait 3-5 weeks for delivery! Ordered on 23rd June (Anthracite VRS,Diesel with leather) notified built 5 months to the day. Just hope it gets here by Christmas.....

Well, hopefully mine should have just been built during week 46 (Diesel Hatch, Anthracite with leather- ordered 23rd June). All I need now is an email from Forces Cars Direct or Motorline Dartford to confirm it...... :S (Fingers crossed!)

Well, It's a week later & no reply at all from Motorline Dartford. I have a different email address, let's try again.....

That's not fair - you've got mine!!! Ordered Anthracite (CR) hatch Jun 23, awaiting build week 47!!! :'( Only kidding though, good luck mate!

I've just emailed Motorline in Dartford - let's see what they come back with.... :wonder:

Morning All, I've seen the word compensation mentioned a couple of times on this forum with regards to late delivery dates. I ordered my VRS on 23rd June & I'm currently looking at a mid-December delivery from Motorline in Dartford (vis Forces Cars Direct) this will be (about) 25 weeks, any ideas if I'm eligible & how I get the ball rolling? Sounds that way doesn't it? I've emailed FCD to see if anything else might be knocking around. Beginning to wish I'd gone for the Mazda 6 2.2 Sport that I was considering instead.... :wonder:

Sorry, but I needed to rant somewhere!!! I ordered a new Octavia VRS CR in Anthracite (with Leather)through Forces Cars Direct (who use Motorpoint in Dartmouth) in late June & paid £300 deposit. I was told at the time to expect delivery in mid-September. I ordered my current Octy VRS from them 2 years ago & everything went fine. In late August, as I'd not heard anything from FCD, I enquired about my order to be told I'd been delayed & was on build week 40 (04/10/2010 –10/10/2010) & could expect delivery 4-5 weeks after that. Well today, as I'd not hand any contact at all from FCD, I enquired again. I've just been sent this: I have spoken to the dealership and the build week on your new car has been put back, like a lot of my Skoda orders have. The dates keep changing, so I cannot confirm when your car is definitely going to be built. The current build week is 47 (22/11/2010-28/11/2010) but like I have said before this can come forward again. I know that this is not the news that you were hoping to hear, but the dates are out of our control, all I can do is keep an eye on these for you and keep you updated. Noticed you're in Lincolnshire. Did you order yours from Hortons in Lincoln? Mine was ordered by Forces Cars Direct in Lincoln, but they use Motorpoint in Dartford as their Skoda dealer. They used Horton's when I bought my last VRS in 2008 & delivery times were much shorter! :'(

Don't feel too bad, the S Max could've been one of these: S-Max 2.5 Titanium Engine Size 2522 cc Cylinders 5 0-60 mph 7.4 s Power Output 216 bhp Valves 20 Torque 324 Nm 239 lb-ft Top Speed 143 mph It's a Focus ST baby transporter!

Opposite to me mate; I was told mid-September delivery when I ordered in late June. Only when I prompted the dealer last week was I told I'm on build week 40, delivery mid-November! It's nice to be kept informed isn't it.......

Hi All, Just perusing the Skoda.co.uk website & noticed that Anthracite is not listed in the colours available for the Octavia VRS. I hope this is just a mistake, as I've ordered my new one in this colour! :wonder:

Got 4 18" Avon ZZ3's on my VRS a couple of months back. The car feels much better than with the old Conti SC2's & the tyres look awesome! Only £89 a corner fitted too (Black Circles)

If only our Skoda's were in Forza Motorsport 3......then we could all make our own police cars!....
