  1. Hey guys I've busted my rear taillight by cleverly reversing into a pillar. What's the best fix? Replace the full unit? Or is there any way I can just replace the glass bit, as the LED's and the unit itself is not damaged. Thanks in advance!
  2. Has anyone tried the Canbus Pro? Apparently error free. I'm dying from the lack of light off the stock O3 bulbs http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/h7-canbus-pro-hid-xenon-conversion-35w-kit/
  3. Yup! 8.1 makes it work like a charm!!!
  4. Ditto with me too! I'm downloading the 8.1 update, so I'll throw in an update when I find out
  5. Works for some but not for others! Defies logic. Totally perplexed.
  6. Yep, I'm on a 6+ too. Great phone! Bit annoying though. I have prowled the interweb for perhaps a firmware update for the bolero with no luck. Hope 8.1 fixes the niggle.
  7. Hi! I saw another thread, who's problem with the bluetooth and iOS 8 was fixed with a network settings reset. It doesn't seem to work for me, nor does deleting the phone and re-pairing with the system. I certainly can't be the only one with the issue? Also, it shows no network signal when full in the phone, and sometimes it shows as trying to make a call, but no call is being made. Additionally, when trying to make a call after re-pairing, it shows a message as no signal and disconnected, but the phone continues to make the call! Totally baffled.
  8. I think it's great, and I think I've set it on eco mode. Did a 100 mile run the day before and averaged 57 mpg!
  9. I ordered an SE, black 1.2 TSI and the only add-ons were the canton and tail light assemblies. The dealer did say that the last SE he ordered had arrived in 6 weeks, and the email I received did say that 'We have received confirmation from the Skoda Factory that the anticipated production date for your new Octavia is week commencing 24th February 2014.' So with the added 3 weeks for transport, fingers crossed it should be ready to collect mid-late March.
  10. Hi fellow Briskodians! I have finally purchased my first new car - after previously owning an Mk1 Fabia which I had to scrap a couple of years ago, I am nothing but excited. I am getting it through my local Skoda dealer, Trans City. Order was placed on the 28th of January. I received an email today stating that the 'anticipated production date' is the week commencing 24th February. Does this mean this is when production will be completed?
  11. crash bar looks cool in a weird sorta way!
  12. Ive changed them on a 16v.. was really hard to unscrew using the spark plug removal tool.. invest in some handy wd40 if you have this problem.. screwing new ones in was very simple though.. just keep in mind to not cross thread!
