Hey folks I need some advice I am looking to but a set of 17" alloys for my Octavia 1.9tdi 54 plate but the tyres are 235/45/17 and I am unsure as to whether it will cause any major issues to the driving. is anyone else running these size tyres on there Octavia.

Not sure if I have got this wrong or not but are they the same as Anti Roll Bar Drop Links???

Hey folks just been told I need new rear drop links for my Octavia 56 plate 1.9tdi. I was going to get the parts myself and get my mate whos a mechanic to fit them but am a bit wary of buying the wrong parts. Anybody know how i go about getting the correct part number without bothering the dealership. Any help in this matter would be great.

Hey all I haven been driving my 1.9tdi Octavia for the past six months and have been happy I recently lowered it and put on new alloys but I now want more power. I am thinking remap from Angel tuning but was wondering if anyone else has done this to a 1.9tdi and if it felt any different or was it just better on fuel???. My idea is to have it looking similar to a vrs so going to order spoiler and put new exhaust on and in future change the bumpers. any other ideas would be great

Hey guys has anyone experienced this from their Octavia. When i change from 1st to 2nd and start to accelerate I feel a slight judder thru the car ????

It had only been lowered for about 5 days when the pics were taken so hoping it will settle a little bit more. As for the wheels offset I aint sure but i have been told 35-38. They are eibach springs which are probably the best around. I am hoping to save a bit of cash shortly to buy a set of fsd's to go with the eibach as I believe this to be a good mix.

Hey all thanks for all the positive comments . would love to go lower but was lucky SWMBO agreed to the springs so dont want to push my luck. Hoping to get the geo done in the next few weeks. I been put in touch with a place in the Glasgow area doing it for around £35 who did my mates MK2 golf which was way out,so once again another good price. Next on the list is either a remap or cruise control not sure what I want more?

Hey buddy my wife is a childminder and we have one kid with another on the way so I got rid of my Fabia for an Octavia. Even with the bigger car it was a tight squeeze with an Iso fix chair, booster seat with no back and a booster seat with back. We ended up putting the booster seat with back in the front passenger seat with the wife sitting in the back which makes it alot easier though the wife hates sitting in the back.

Sorry should have said thats £70 to fit not for parts but even at that I think its a great price. Good guys and from what i have seen a pretty good clean set up.

Well got the car lowered last week at a great place in ayrshire called GI Motorsport they did a great job and were really cheap considering one garage had the cheek to want to charge £140 they were only £70, so top place . After much deliberation I decided to save my self some cash and clay bar and wax/polish the car myself. Just fitted a set of Eibachs to my 1.9tdi Octavis and it looks great and will hopefully settle a little lower soon.

Hey all I was wondering if anyone on here has purchased one of these from flebay.
