Lowered Suspension with a Loaded Car
TheOne replied to TheOne's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Thanks for all of your replies! There are some very low and full ones here (jonny5ive i'm looking at you!). You've reassured me that I should have no problems with this, so once again thank you all for your honest advice :-) -
My Suspension will be due soon for replacement on my PD100 and I would really like to go a touch lower, to what I would think it should of looked like from the Factory! Coilovers fom what I have read are out of the question, reading other posts, the Vogtland Springs and Shocks package has really caught my eye. But! 80% of the time it will be Two Adults and a Child in the Car for normal Travel and 20% will be a Boot and 320L Roof Box full of Holiday/Camping gear. Sorry to go on, but would Lowered Suspension not be suitable for my needs?

Fab vrs lowered on springs pictures
TheOne replied to The JudGe's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Your Car looks very nice indeed and a perfect lowering height. -
The caps just clip in and are available from your local dealer, I paid just over £7 pounds each if memory serves me right.

Thanks again for this Luke, great to meet and have a chat with you. Enjoy your Motor!

I've looked at getting the Ashtray cup holder replacement, how easy was it to fit?
-
You should sell these no problem, very surprised no ones grabbed these yet! GLWS

Could you put some pics of the Shocks/Springs as they are now, very interested in these, Thanks.

Well said, Love my Fabia to bits! -
Does the vrs badge attract trouble?
TheOne replied to R1DAVIE's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Agreed! -
I would say they are not going to fit the 1.0, 1.2, 1.4, 1.4 16V models, I would assume they are for the heavier Diesel Engines? I'm sure another member will confirm if this is the case or not.

Look very nice and would love to have them in mine, but it looks like the middle rear seat is the 'waist' style Seatbelt, so I assume they would not fit my 'Shoulder' Seatbelt?

Looking very nice! Just what I want to do with mine.
